Lin Yi rubbed his brow.

The pure spiritual energy within the Human Emperor Token had reminded him that the thing itself could be used as a cultivation resource. If he could get a few more, he could further accelerate the rate at which he opened his Aperture Points.

But the Great Wilderness was vast, and the tokens were scattered everywhere. It was all down to luck.

Forget it. No point thinking about that yet.

He shifted his gaze to the two Soul Extremity Realm beast corpses piled beside him and licked his lips.

"Meat from Soul Extremity Realm beasts should contain quite a bit of energy, right?"

He acted as soon as the thought arose, stripping off the hides and skinning and cutting up the meat in one smooth motion.

He condensed spiritual energy into fire and set the meat over it to roast. Fat dripped into the flames with crackles and pops, and the scent of roasting meat quickly filled the entire cave.

Lin Yi did not stand on ceremony. He tore off chunks of meat with his hands and stuffed them into his mouth. The Great Wilderness Art circulated, using spiritual energy to speed up digestion. As he ate, he refined; the meat entering his stomach was rapidly broken down into qi and blood that flooded into his body.

In less than a quarter of an hour, he had gnawed the flesh clean off the two Soul Extremity Realm Ferocious Beasts, leaving only a heap of bones strewn across the ground.

"Phew."

Lin Yi wiped his mouth and sat down cross-legged.

Qi and blood surged and churned within him, so dense it seemed ready to burst his meridians. The Spiritual Energy Crystal in his abdomen continued supplying energy as well, the two working in tandem.
