Uchiha's Enemy: Senju Clan

"Those Senju bastards! They actually killed my sister! I'll never let the Senju Clan get away with this!"

"Hey! Stop talking! With injuries like yours, get off the field already. Leave the rest of the battle to us!"

"Clan Head Madara and Lord Jobu are still fighting up ahead. How can we withdraw in disgrace just because we're injured?!"

More than a dozen severely wounded Uchiha Clan members were hurriedly carried off the battlefield by their clansmen.

Yet not a single one of those badly injured Uchiha wanted to rest in peace. Every one of them wanted to return to the fight. Even if they died, they could not let the Senju Clan have it easy.

On the battlefield ahead, where the fighting had yet to end, flames surged into the sky like an erupting volcano. The terrifying heat was even more dreadful than lava as it burned toward the Senju Clan's ninja.

"Fire Release! Great Fire Annihilation!"

Facing the flames about to engulf him, the long-haired figure slammed his hands together and shouted, "Earth Release! Earth-Style: Earth-Flow Rampart!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Walls of earth over ten meters high rose one after another from the ground, arranged in orderly ranks to meet the flames crashing toward them head-on.

"Madara!"

"Hashirama!"

The two long-haired figures charged at each other in an instant.

Uchiha Madara swung his Gunbai down. The fierce, heavy force behind it made the fan strike with the impact of an iron hammer.

"Madara! Stop! We shouldn't be enemies!"

The Senju Great Sword, passed down through generations, looked as though it weighed hundreds of pounds. Yet in Senju Hashirama's hands, it was as light as a Kunai as he swept it sideways to block the descending blow.

"Don't be naive. I am the Uchiha Clan's leader, and you are the Senju Clan's leader. Whether we admit it or not, the Uchiha and Senju Clan are enemies! That is an unchangeable fact!"

"Then let us change that fact together!"

"Naive! How long are you going to keep being naive? If that's the case, take your naivety and report to the Pure Land!"

Uchiha Jobu's gaze darkened as he located Tobirama Senju. In less than a second, he completed the hand seals required for the jutsu. With a leap, he soared above Tobirama Senju and fired a Great Fireball down at him.

"Fire Release! Great Fireball Technique!"

He had thought the sneak attack could seriously wound Tobirama Senju. If luck was on his side, he might even kill the future Second outright.

But the moment he expelled the Great Fireball, believing the attack would succeed, Uchiha Jobu saw his target suddenly dissolve into smoke.

"Is that a Shadow Clone? He developed it this early? The B-rank Shadow Clone Technique can create a physical clone. When the clone disperses on its own or is destroyed, the original body can receive the memories from the clone's time of activity."

"Should I say he truly lives up to being a master of forbidden techniques? I wonder what other jutsu he has developed. Could there be forbidden techniques among them?"

His target had actually been a Shadow Clone. Though surprised, he also found it perfectly reasonable.

After all, the target he was attacking was the future Second of the Hidden Leaf Village, a man who had independently created more than ten forbidden techniques. At his peak, he could use Water Release on a scale comparable to a tsunami, and was even called the ninja who had made a contract with the sea.

"It's you again, the star of the Uchiha Clan..."

Tobirama Senju was secretly startled by the power of that Fire Release. If he had not developed the Shadow Clone Technique, that incoming Fire Release would have been enough to burn him severely.

Both the timing of its release and the control over the jutsu had been impeccable.

"Save the pleasantries, Senju."

Stray attacks occasionally flew across the battlefield, as did Shuriken that had missed their intended targets.

So even while speaking, they had to remain alert to their surroundings to avoid being hurt by an unexpected attack.

"Did you come here alone to die? I admit that you possess extraordinary talent, but you haven't grown yet. You're about to die here."

His enemy was a genius who had yet to mature, one who bore the title of the Uchiha Clan's "star" and had already displayed more than enough talent.

An enemy like that absolutely could not be allowed to grow. He had to be eliminated early.

Thirteen-year-old Tobirama Senju and nearly nine-year-old Uchiha Jobu both wanted to kill the other.

"Earth Release! Earth-Style: Earth Spear!"

Uchiha Jobu altered the terrain with Earth Release, and sharp rocks erupted from underground without any pattern.

The Earth Release jutsu was not meant to attack, but to force Tobirama Senju away from where he stood. Many Explosive Tags had been buried beneath the ground. If he failed to notice them and rushed forward recklessly, he would be blasted into the air in an instant.

"Did he see through it?"

As the rock attack arrived, Chakra gathered beneath his feet. With a sudden burst of astonishing speed, as though he had teleported, Tobirama Senju appeared elsewhere.

Feeling the ground surge with rage, Uchiha Jobu then saw more than a dozen Explosive Tags detonated by Chakra at the same time.

Tobirama Senju's gaze darkened. He gripped a Kunai in his hand and lowered his eyes to avoid meeting the Sharingan's gaze.

"These eyes really are troublesome. Only the evil Uchiha could awaken such a Kekkei Genkai."

The Explosive Tags prepared according to plan had failed to work, but Tobirama Senju was not disappointed. Instead, the killing intent in his gaze toward Uchiha Jobu grew even more solid.

Eight- or nine-year-old ninja were common in the Ninja World, but bodies that had not yet matured could not possess much Chakra to squander. One Earth Release jutsu and the earlier Great Fireball had already consumed nearly one-fifth of his Chakra.

Suddenly, a Kunai shot toward him. Uchiha Jobu tilted aside, letting it pass by his cheek.

The Kunai's edge, sharp enough to cut through armor, instantly severed two strands of hair.

"Don't even think about getting another chance to use a jutsu!"

He had used the Kunai to create a fleeting opening. The instant Uchiha Jobu turned aside, Tobirama Senju crouched low, completely breaking the Sharingan's line of sight, then used the Body Flicker Technique to close in.

With Tobirama Senju pressed tightly against Uchiha Jobu, his fierce and heavy taijutsu gave Uchiha Jobu no chance to widen the distance. He could exploit their age gap and suppress him with taijutsu alone, without needing to consider how powerful the Sharingan was.

Uchiha Jobu's body had not yet fully matured, and he could not match Tobirama Senju's current strength. That was something he could not change for the time being.

But being suppressed by Tobirama Senju's taijutsu was simply impossible. Since his strength was insufficient, he would use his Kekkei Genkai to make up for the difference in age.

"Shikotsumyaku!"

The benefits brought by the treasure chest cheat were far from insignificant. All kinds of jutsu and Kekkei Genkai could be drawn from the chests. A powerful close-combat bloodline ability like Shikotsumyaku had always been kept as a trump card, and only now was it truly revealed before outsiders.
