"Rust Release?"

"Forget it. It wasn't that useful—nowhere near as useful as the few ninjutsu I unlocked."

He had gained a new Kekkei Genkai, but it brought Uchiha Jobu little surprise. He even found it rather dull.

Rust Release could erase one's presence and aura, making it seem like invisibility, but this Kekkei Genkai had no use whatsoever in combat.

Entering an invisible state could conceal one's aura.

However, the condition was that he could not make any major movements while invisible. If he attacked an enemy in that state, his body would be forcibly ejected from it in an instant.

He swallowed several more Military Ration Pills to replenish his depleted chakra. Once strength returned to his body, he recalled that he had killed around sixty ninja after activating Shikotsumyaku. More than twenty had been from the Senju Clan; the rest were from the Uzumaki Clan and several small ninja clans that had pledged themselves to the Senju Clan.

Both sides had several hundred men, making this a chaotic battle involving nearly a thousand people.

Fire Release, Water Release, and Earth Release were the most common. The Ninja World knew that Uchiha ninja excelled at Fire Release, while Senju Clan ninja were famous for Water Release and Earth Release. The techniques of the other clans were a disorderly mix of all kinds.

Uchiha Jobu pierced a Senju Clan Chunin through the chest with bone. Scalding blood sprayed across his face, staining the delicate-looking Uchiha Jobu into a bloodthirsty demon.

He then pulled out his spine, spun around, and unleashed a sweeping strike that severed and knocked aside the incoming hidden weapons and ninja tools.

"Don't rush. Your turn will come soon enough."

White bones.

Fresh blood.

And bits of flesh still clinging to the bone blade, not yet shaken loose.

Uchiha Jobu stepped forward in that state. Before he made a single move to attack, all the Senju and Uzumaki ninja hurriedly backed away. He had utterly terrified these enemies, whose strongest members were no more than Chunin.

"He's alone! What are you afraid of? If we attack together, he definitely won't be our match!"

"That's right! He's only a brat under ten years old. Are we really saying that we can't deal with one little brat?"

"If that's the case, I'll take the lead. I'm skilled in Earth Release. In an instant, I can alter the terrain beneath him. Then you guys can finish him off in one go!"

"No problem! It's decided, then!"

"Alright! Go!"

Uchiha Jobu held his head high and strode forward without caring how many enemies stood before him.

Shikotsumyaku could absolutely be called a battlefield butcher's Kekkei Genkai. As long as one mastered the taijutsu that complemented it, a single person could easily kill enemies several times their number.

Of course, that required being able to activate Shikotsumyaku. And one could not be like the Kaguya Ninja, stubbornly insisting on fighting the Uchiha Clan and choosing their natural enemy as opponents. Shikotsumyaku was clearly an immensely powerful Kekkei Genkai, yet it happened to be countered by the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan genjutsu.

"Earth Release! Ear—"

The young Senju Clan member who had declared he would lead the charge had not even finished forming the hand seals needed for his ninjutsu when a white bone suddenly pierced his forehead. Until his death, he could not understand why an Uchiha under ten years old possessed such terrifying speed.

"Kill him!"

"Catch him!"

The chaotic cries sounded even more pleasant than war drums. Uchiha Jobu felt his blood boil as his domineering gaze swept across the battlefield. A wave of delight surged through him, along with an uncontrollable urge to throw back his head and laugh wildly.

"HAHAHA! Die! Die, you pieces of trash!"

"What Senju Clan? Beneath the gaze of these eyes, you have no chance of winning!"

Perhaps this impulse lay hidden deep within his bloodline. Once he felt pleasure in battle, he seemed unable to stop himself from laughing madly. He became even more brutal when attacking his enemies, like a crazed demon laughing without restraint, his appearance utterly sinister.

"Damn it! Uchiha Clan's 'Star' can actually activate Shikotsumyaku too? What the hell is going on?"

"The Uchiha Clan nearly slaughtered the Kaguya Clan to extinction. The last surviving members only escaped to the Land of Water with the Hyuga Clan's help. It's impossible for a Kaguya clansman to have intermarried with the Uchiha Clan."

"Besides, if I remember correctly, Uchiha Jobu is at most nine years old—not even ten. Even if the Kaguya Clan and Uchiha Clan had intermarried, it would be impossible for him to activate two Kekkei Genkai at such an age."

"A child's body cannot possibly bear the cost of activating two Kekkei Genkai at once!"

Tobirama Senju analyzed the situation calmly, but the more he forced himself to remain calm, the less he could truly do so. Watching his clansmen be brutally slaughtered one after another by that figure clad in white bone, a nameless fury rose from the depths of his heart.

There were ninja in the Ninja World who carried the powers of multiple Kekkei Genkai within their bodies. But using two Kekkei Genkai simultaneously was something a young body simply could not support. Even if a ninja child under ten possessed supreme talent, his body could not possibly have matured to rival that of an adult.
