Background

Zhu Zhuqing is the legitimate daughter of the Star Luo Empire’s Zhu Clan and inheritor of the Netherworld Civet Martial Soul. The empire’s succession system turns the Zhu and Dai heirs into rivals, forcing them to compete for survival and power. Her innate Level 7 Soul Power made her eligible to form the Netherworld White Tiger fusion skill with a White Tiger heir. 29

She fled from the Star Luo Empire toward the Heaven Dou Empire while being pursued by her elder sister, Zhu Zhuyun. Zhu Zhuyun publicly attacked and incapacitated her, but secretly spared her life, ordered her subordinates to report Zhu Zhuqing dead, and attempted to let her escape the clan’s persecution. 20

Zhu Zhuyun continued carrying the unconscious Zhu Zhuqing when the sisters were caught by the Titan Giant Ape and Azure Bull Python. Jiang Li later recognized that Zhu Zhuyun’s supposed assassination had actually been a covert escort and protection effort. 21 24

After Jiang Li rescued the sisters, Zhu Zhuqing accepted his offer of protection and partnership rather than remain tied to the Star Luo succession struggle or her absent fiancé, Dai Mubai. She signed the Summoning Grimoire and became Jiang Li’s third contractor. 25

Initially distrustful of Zhu Zhuyun after being hunted across the continent, she nevertheless agrees to attempt a fusion skill with her sister so as not to disappoint Jiang Li. Contract and Martial Soul Evolution

Jiang Li obtains Zhu Zhuqing from the Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape, offers her protection, and contracts her through the Summoning Grimoire. After Zhu Zhuyun is also contracted, the sisters’ Netherworld Civets evolve into the complementary Earthly Origin and Heavenly Origin Civets. 23 25 26 27

Twin Civet and Sisterly Reconciliation
