Background / History

Mei Terumi initially serves as the head of the Hidden Mist Anbu during the village’s alliance negotiations with Chen Feng and the Taoist School. She meets Chen Feng after Yagura’s return to the village, taking an immediate interest in both him and the Taoist School’s unfamiliar power. She is particularly unsettled when Chen Feng reveals knowledge of her closely guarded Boil Release bloodline. 59

Chen Feng later explains Taoist cultivation and the five classes of immortals to Mei, broadening her understanding of forces beyond the shinobi world. Her interest becomes genuine awe when she learns that an Earth Immortal is said to establish longevity. 61

When Obito attacks the Hidden Mist and defeats the critically weakened Fourth Mizukage, Mei arrives with Hidden Mist ninja to protect Yagura.
