Background

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King and the common master of Douluo Continent’s Soul Beasts. As the benevolent part separated from the Dragon God, she carries the Dragon Clan’s legacy while living in concealment within the Spirit Pagoda. She views the God Realm’s prohibition on Soul Beasts becoming gods as a central cause of their long persecution and decline. 2 13

When a Spirit Pagoda livestream reveals an enormous dragon scale in Dragon Valley, Gu Yuena immediately identifies it as a living, sleeping Dragon King. The discovery restores her hope that the nearly vanished Dragon Clan can be revived, but she fears the Pagoda will exploit the sleeping dragon for scales, bones, and battle armor. 2
