Background / History

Di Tian was already known as the Beast God of the Star Dou Great Forest before Dragon Valley’s discovery. As a young Black Dragon, he received spiritual enlightenment from the former Dragon God and inherited the Dragon God Claw. He remained a leading Soul Beast while human expansion steadily reduced Soul Beast territory. 1 9

When humans excavated Dragon Valley and disturbed the being sleeping beneath it, Gu Yuena ordered Di Tian to defend the Dragon Clan’s dignity. He emerged with Xiong Jun and other Fierce Beasts, denounced the excavation, and deliberately turned the confrontation with Qiangu Dongfeng into a public livestreamed challenge. 7

Appearance

Di Tian can assume humanoid, half-human, and dragon forms. In battle, he becomes an enormous black dragon whose two pairs of wings can block out the sun. 7

Di Tian is fiercely loyal to Gu Yuena, the Dragon Clan, and later the underground Dragon God. He responds immediately to Gu Yuena’s orders, yet acts as more than a simple enforcer: he understands human media, uses public broadcasts strategically, and restrains Xiong Jun when indiscriminate violence could provoke a wider war. 7 10 16

In combat, he is decisive and willing to accept injury for victory. He allowed Qiangu Dongfeng’s Coiling Dragon Staff to pierce his chest so that he could strike at close range, a gamble that earned Luo Feng’s approval and his bloodline reward. 8 9 His courage is matched by growing conviction that the Dragon God offers Soul Beasts a path beyond their historic limitations. 20 21
