History

Xu Feng was reborn as the empire's Second Prince, but the imperial family initially neglected him because his Currency War Martial Soul did not match the royal Sun or Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon inheritances. He was granted the title Prince of Qin and largely left to his own devices. 1

At age eight, Xu Feng joined the military to develop his Martial Soul. Over six years, he led the Mysterious Armored Army in war against the Dou Ling Empire, driving the enemy into retreat before Xu Yuan accepted a peace agreement that included a major territorial cession. 1

The Skyscreen's revelation that Xu Feng would become the Celestial Emperor destabilized the empire's succession. With most of the empire's Titled Douluo backing him, Xu Feng's supporters mobilized eight hundred soldiers against Crown Prince Xu Tianran. 4 6

Xuanwumen Incident

Xu Feng's faction seized the palace through Xuanwu Gate, ambushed Xu Tianran's forces, and killed the former Crown Prince after defeating his Titled Douluo-level transformation. Xu Yuan unexpectedly endorsed the transfer of power, allowing Xu Feng to become Crown Prince without killing his father. 7

Fall of Shrek Academy

After Shrek Academy's conflict with the Heaven Soul delegation escalated into an international crisis, the Sun Moon Empire joined the Star Luo, Dou Ling, and Heaven Dou empires in attacking Shrek City. 40 42

The four empires fielded a combined force of 800,000 soldiers against roughly a thousand Shrek defenders. Shrek Academy's defenses fell within thirty minutes, ending its ten-thousand-year institutional legacy. 45

Xu Feng prohibited a continent-wide pursuit of fleeing students, arguing that many had been victims of Shrek's indoctrination and that indiscriminate arrests would damage his legitimacy. 45

Zhenguan Accession

Following several years of temporary peace and military expansion, Xu Yuan abandoned the throne and left Xu Feng to assume imperial authority. Xu Feng accepted the imperial seal, adopted Zhenguan as his reign title, and pledged to combine firm rule with benevolent reform. 46
