Background

Tang Wulin was sent to the mortal Douluo Continent during a major conflict in the future Celestial Court, where he was raised by Tang Ziran and his family. He remains grateful to his adoptive parents, particularly for the sacrifices made to support his unusually large appetite. 34 37

At age six, he encountered Dai Yun’er after she escaped kidnappers who had transported her from Xingluo Continent. He brought her to his home, where Tang Ziran protected and temporarily adopted her. Tang Wulin and Dai Yun’er lived together for two years before her father reclaimed her; they reunited four years later at Monster Academy after Tang Wulin boarded the wrong train. 8
