Background / History

Xu Ban is the son of Xu Feng and Huo Yutong, born into the earliest, most primitive era of the Douluo Continent long before Martial Souls, Spirit Rings, or the God Realm existed 55 56. Unlike his siblings, he was sent into the past with no elders, teachers, or advanced resources to guide him, enduring a harsh and isolated upbringing 56. He was adopted and trained in lethal martial techniques by a fierce mercenary named Reid 56.

During his youth, Reid rescued Ruti, a noble girl who fell from the sky, and she eventually joined them 56. Ban and Ruti grew close through their travels, married, and had children 58 59. Ban later participated in rescuing Ruti's mother, Shanice, from an ancient ice-seal in the Far North, defeating a powerful Nine-Headed Dragon using his Mangekyo Sharingan and Susanoo 59 60.
