First Appearance Chapter 34, “Di Tian” 34

Appearance

In his usual humanoid form, Di Tian resembles a stern middle-aged man standing two meters tall. His golden eyes exert an oppressive presence strong enough to intimidate other powerful Soul Beasts 34.

  • Hair: Black, with a streak of gold 34.
  • Clothing: A black robe patterned with golden lines 34.
  • Blood: Dark golden, carrying his Dark True Dragon bloodline 66 69.
  • True form: A Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King; the humanoid appearance is distinct from his true Soul Beast body 72.

Personality

Di Tian places Star Dou Great Forest’s survival above individual freedom. When the Three-Eyed Golden Lion transfers half its fortune to Li Ming, he fears lasting damage to Soul Beast births, bloodline potential, and future breakthroughs. His first suspicion falls on human Soul Masters, whom he views as scheming hunters 34 35.

He is proud, blunt, and hostile toward Soul Beasts who abandon their original nature to live as humans. He condemns Xiao Wu’s choice and defends overpowering weaker opponents by pointing out that Soul Masters routinely do the same when hunting Soul Beasts 44 47.

His imposing manner disappears before Gu Yuena. He addresses her as his lord, accepts her decisions despite personal objections, and prioritizes her recovery and concealment from the God Realm 34 35 85 87.

Di Tian also has a calculating, indulgent side. He enjoys human food while dismissing it as a trivial pursuit, becomes one of Purple Heaven City’s most active users, and obtains Dream Coupons by misleading Soul Masters seeking information or benefits. When he needs Li Ming’s cooperation, he can suppress his temper rather than jeopardize the forest’s interests 43 44 59 70 86.

Abilities & Skills

Physical Strength and Combat Speed

  • Breaks apart Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing’s Netherworld White Tiger with a punch 45.
  • Ignores Ma Hongjun’s flames, seizes him by the head, and slams him out of Dream Space 45.
  • Counters Tang San’s close-range techniques before Tang San can react 45.
  • Blocks Tang Hao’s increasingly powerful Chaos Cloaking Hammer Technique and wins their direct contest of strength 45 46.
  • Defeats Tang Hao even after he uses his Martial Soul Avatar, Great Sumeru Hammer, and the detonation of all nine Soul Rings 46 47.

Dark Power

  • Devours energy and corrodes opposing power rather than merely resisting it 46 47.
  • Damages the Clear Sky Hammer’s Martial Soul where it contacts the Black Dragon Sword 46.
  • Forms the essential power source for both the Black Dragon Sword and Dark Annihilation Domain 51.
  • Persists in separated biological material: cultivated blood-producing cells can absorb environmental energy and generate additional Dark Power 66.

Dark Annihilation Domain

  • Can cover Di Tian’s own body to consume incoming spiritual pressure 46.
  • Completely neutralizes Tang Hao’s Killing God Domain during their initial domain clash 46.
  • Expands across the surrounding battlefield, consuming weaker dream bodies and expelling some users from Dream Space 47.
  • Devours half the force of Tang Hao’s Great Sumeru Hammer before the decisive collision 47.

Black Dragon Sword and Destructive Aura

  • Black Dragon Sword: A self-created Soul Skill condensed from Dark Power, described as comparable to a divine weapon 51.
  • Black dragon flame: Surrounds the sword and intensifies when Di Tian becomes serious 45 46.
  • Destructive Aura: Empowers his attacks with annihilating force 46 47.
  • Black Dragon Head attack: Accompanies a sword slash against Tang Hao, helping shatter his Martial Soul Avatar 47.

Spatial Guidance

  • Pulls Soul Beasts directly into the Life Forbidden Zone for inspection 69.
  • Uses Spatial Power effectively enough that Li Ming seeks to reproduce the ability through his own Martial Soul 69.

Perception and Bloodline Suppression

  • Recognizes the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s original power despite her human appearance in Dream Space 43.
  • Nearly suffocates Da Ming and Er Ming with the spiritual pressure contained in his gaze, prompting their submission 71.
  • Detects unusually dense dragon bloodlines among the Space Soul Beasts; his bloodline suppression causes a snake-type cub to faint 84.
  • Senses a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast sacrifice from within the Life Forbidden Zone, although he cannot immediately identify the sacrificing creature 93.

True Dragon Blood and Cellular Cultivation

Property Documented effect
Separated stem cells Continue cultivating by absorbing the primordial energy of heaven and earth; their activity increases in Star Dou Great Forest 66.
Retained cultivation talent Absorb and store environmental energy far more efficiently than cells from ordinary hundred-year and thousand-year Soul Beasts 67.
Artificial blood Accelerates the growth of Li Ming’s Space Soul Beasts and helps stimulate latent bloodlines 67 68.
Heartblood Purifies existing Soul Beast bloodlines and can improve strength through prolonged consumption; its benefits are not restricted to dragon-type beasts 77.
Awakening limit His blood alone does not induce bloodline awakening in ordinary Soul Beasts. Li Ming’s space cultivation is the crucial additional factor 69 76.

Dream Space Restrictions

  • His overwhelming combat strength does not override Purple Heaven City’s administrative controls: Li Ming forcibly logs him out and suspends his account 48.
  • Satellite AI can seal his displayed power inside Dream Space 70.
  • The Life Forbidden Zone blocks Space Station surveillance and direct invitations. He normally enters through the Auspicious Beast’s Fate Power-assisted invitation port 85.

History / Major Arcs

The Auspicious Beast’s Fortune Transfer

Di Tian confronts the Three-Eyed Golden Lion after she returns weakened from secretly helping Li Ming. Discovering that half the fortune she carries has been transferred away, he initially suspects human theft and considers attacking the human empires. She admits that the transfer was voluntary and necessary according to her Eye of Destiny 34.

The Silver Dragon King reveals that the transferred fortune has deeply fused with Li Ming’s Soul Bone, binding his fate to Star Dou Great Forest. Di Tian wants the arrangement reversed, but she accepts the Auspicious Beast’s judgment and cannot undo the fusion in her injured state. He reluctantly ends the confrontation and sends the Lion to recuperate 35.

Purple Heaven City and the Tang Hao Duel

The Auspicious Beast brings Di Tian into Dream Space, where he discovers that its inhabitants are real people communicating across great distances. She guides him through Purple Heaven City and introduces him to its food, challenging his assumption that human society has little worth investigating 42 43.

Their encounter with Xiao Wu escalates after Di Tian condemns her human life. Tang San attacks him, followed by other Shrek members, but Di Tian defeats the attackers with little effort. Tang Hao intervenes to protect his son and challenges him with the Clear Sky Hammer 44 45.

Di Tian defeats Tang Hao’s domains and ultimate hammer techniques, then destroys Tang San’s dream body when he attacks again. His Soul Beast identity is publicly exposed, but he shows no concern about concealing it. These defeats occur within Dream Space rather than causing permanent real-world deaths 46 47.

Li Ming subsequently forbids private fighting. When Di Tian challenges his authority, Li Ming imposes a three-day account suspension and ejects him. After the suspension expires, Di Tian returns and becomes an exceptionally frequent user 48 59.

The Fortune Wager

Di Tian argues that meaningful changes to the forest’s fortune must have effects lasting thousands of years. He wagers with Li Ming over whether Li Ming can increase it, demanding that Li Ming remain in Star Dou Forest for life if he fails. Privately, he views either outcome as beneficial: success strengthens the forest, while failure lets him confine the human carrying its fortune 60.

Li Ming presents rapidly grown Space Soul Beasts showing early bloodline awakening. Di Tian initially dismisses their significance, then confirms their unusual age and potential through direct inspection. His attempt to reproduce the result by feeding his own blood to an ordinary Soul Beast fails 68 69.

Because large-scale production could strengthen the forest, Di Tian accepts further demands for research materials, unusual bloodline samples, and small samples from his internal organs. Li Ming uses the Beast God’s responsibility to his people as leverage and trains the Auspicious Beast to perform the extraction 70.

Biological Research and Forest Resources

Di Tian’s earlier bone-marrow sampling provokes intense anger, but the resulting stem-cell cultures become the basis of Li Ming’s artificial True Dragon blood. Later cardiac samples allow Li Ming to grow an artificial heart, although its first human-sized version performs poorly 67 71 72.

A larger artificial heart subsequently draws environmental essence at a rate exceeding the cultivation of a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. These experiments reproduce aspects of Di Tian’s biology; they do not create another complete Di Tian 74.

Di Tian also brings Da Ming and Er Ming into the forest’s core hierarchy and assigns them to obey the Purple Heaven City Lord. Li Ming employs them to excavate mineral veins around Star Dou Forest 71.

Space Soul Beasts and Divine Attention

When Li Ming announces that more than a thousand cultivated cubs are ready, Di Tian immediately orders Scarlet King and the Auspicious Beast to retrieve them. Their dense bloodlines convince him that the project could produce future sub-dragons, True Dragons, and high-level Soul Beasts 83 84.

His formal acceptance of the cubs into Star Dou Forest triggers a ten-percent fortune increase and denser Earth Vein Qi, fulfilling Li Ming’s wager. Gu Yuena warns that the disturbance has also attracted the God Realm’s attention. Di Tian considers eliminating the cubs, but she orders him to preserve them because the increased Earth Vein Qi aids her recovery 84 85.

Under her instructions, Di Tian tries to secure Li Ming’s continued cooperation while limiting further disturbances. His warning initially backfires when Li Ming refuses to continue the project. Gu Yuena then accompanies him into Dream Space, and they offer Life Gold as an incentive. Di Tian conceals her identity and warns Li Ming against trusting a greedy Soul Master with the treasure 86 87 88.

Sensing the Artificial Sacrifice

Di Tian later senses the sacrifice of Li Ming’s engineered Hundred-Thousand-Year Artificial Whale Stomach near the forest’s outskirts. He suspects a Sea Soul Beast but does not yet understand the event 93.
