Fang Yishu was a university student and Ning Yu's roommate and closest friend. More energetic than Ning, she took freelance Photoshop, video-editing, writing, and short-video jobs; she also regularly handled attendance and assignments for Ning in return for food and drinks. 22 48

While accompanying Ning to collect headphones, Fang helped carry their shopping and pushed Ning to apologize after she knocked Li Yun's glasses off. She then boldly asked Li Yun for his WeChat contact. Li Yun was impressed by Fang's decisiveness, courage, goals, and willingness to act, and secretly arranged for her to be added to the next Main God Game selection list. 22
