Li Qinwu joined Inquisitor Thraxol’s fleet in fighting the Orks on Industrial World 496A, then arranged to repair and arm his Knight Mechs at the Titan Temple. After bonding with a Squire Mech and testing its weapons, he and the Traffic Light Trio went to meet a major Ork force advancing on the Temple.

• Li Qinwu destroyed Orks boarding Thraxol’s warship and helped repel the attack, then hijacked an Ork broadcast to taunt Black Iron and lure him into revealing his position.
• Li Qinwu traveled to Industrial World 496A, learned how the Orks had overrun much of the planet, and visited the Titan Temple with Major Noah.
• The Iron Skull Archmagos agreed to repair Li Qinwu’s Knight Mechs in exchange for their defending the Temple, and Li Qinwu negotiated their weapons, ammunition, and terms of service with Bous.
• Li Qinwu bonded with a Squire Mech’s Machine Spirit, tested its weapons, and added more firepower, including two Fireball Nuclear Missiles.
• After Busi warned that a massive Ork vehicle force had broken through the PDF’s front line, Li Qinwu and the Traffic Light Trio set out in their Armiger Knights to stop it in the Great Desert.

Li Qinwu helped the Space Marines target Ork workshops, then led a mechanized rescue mission to free Norn’s squad from the Death Vein. He defeated Black Iron Warboss but was knocked unconscious by a Big Mek, who dragged the dying Warboss away to make him a mech.

• Li Qinwu ambushed an Ork convoy with the Traffic Light Trio, then fought through Ork infantry and war machines before returning to the Titan Temple and arranging for bionic arms to be added to his Knight Mech.
• Li Qinwu met Captain Dolong and Norn’s squad, agreed to supply the Crimson Bite Chapter in exchange for help repairing his frigate, and secretly planted beacons that led to Ork War Workshops being destroyed.
• Li Qinwu learned the Astartes were trapped in the Death Vein, died after injecting a Black Needle, revived as a Perpetual, and then arranged a rescue force in exchange for the injection’s formula.
• Li Qinwu led tanks, Knights, Skitarii, and other troops through Ork territory, where Rudosen destroyed a Gargant and the convoy fought its way toward the Death Vein.
• Li Qinwu’s force entered the mine’s shielded zone, and he sent troops underground with a nuclear missile while Apothecary Desai charged into the fighting to recover fallen Astartes’ Gene-seed.
• Li Qinwu fought off Ork Mechs and Deff Dreads until Black Iron Warboss appeared with the wounded Desai as a shield, and Desai destroyed Black Iron’s gun and passed Li Qinwu the Gene-seeds before Black Iron killed him.
• Li Qinwu fought Black Iron in a contest of strength, then broke the Warboss’s Waaagh-fueled momentum and tore off both arms before ripping his body in half.
• A Big Mek ambushed Li Qinwu with an Arc Cannon, knocked him unconscious, and dragged Black Iron’s dying upper body away to build him a huge mech.

Li Qinwu gained control of the Monarch Knight and rallied human forces against Three Hands, while the Gretchin built their own power under Big Gretchinism. The humans launched a massive counteroffensive toward Three Hands’s War Workshop as the Lancer Knight awakened to Luca’s whistle.

• Li Qinwu used hidden scriptures to suppress his Chaos corruption, then Black Needle injections led him to a praying Gretchin community that called him Gretchin Majek.
• Li Qinwu inspired the Gretchin to embrace Big Gretchinism, and Horse Monkey became Leather Old Fart as the Gretchin secretly gathered parts, built weapons, and fought back against Orks.
• Li Qinwu bonded with the Monarch Knight’s newborn Machine Spirit through a brutal fight, then tested the Knight’s weapons and accepted five hundred Tech-Priests to maintain it.
• Li Qinwu awakened Luca’s ancient Lancer Knight by playing Luca’s whistle and formed a Knight Guard as two Knight Bastions were built.
• Three Hands captured the Intercontinental Substation and stole transformers, while Li Qinwu led troops to salvage battlefield wrecks and defeated Ork armor and artillery.
• Li Qinwu learned that Three Hands was building a Gorkanaut beneath a ruined Hive City, while Ge Laopi delayed the Gretchin uprising so they could build the Bootlicker Gorkanaut.
• Li Qinwu secured the Planetary Governor’s support for a nuclear strike and ground assault against Three Hands, and the Lancer Knight’s eyes lit when the whistle sounded before the counteroffensive began.

Li Qinwu helped humanity drive back the Orks, recover an STC Template, and rescue Colonel Noah, but Black Iron’s Stompa renewed the Waaagh! and devastated the human forces. With Inquisitor Thraxol preparing Exterminatus, Li Qinwu sought to become the Reaver Titan’s chief princeps and entered the Ascension Throne selection process.

• The Astra Militarum and Li Qinwu’s Knight forces fought the Orks, and Li Qinwu and Luca destroyed Three Hands’s Morkanaut and Black Iron’s Gorkanaut while the two Ork leaders escaped.
• Li Qinwu equipped his forces and later returned as a Gretchin Majek, helping the Gretchin overthrow the Orks and experiment with grafting Gretchin heads onto Ork bodies.
• Li Qinwu led an expedition into an Ork-held Hive City, recovered the STC Template, and found hundreds of Walking Mechs and Heavy Walking Mechs in buried workshops.
• Inquisitor Thraxol helped Li Qinwu free Colonel Noah and more than six hundred soldiers from the Imperial Cult, and the rescued soldiers joined Li Qinwu’s forces.
• Three Hands completed a Stompa, and Black Iron piloted it as the renewed Waaagh! overwhelmed human forces, destroyed the mountain defenses, and survived nuclear strikes.
• The Orks defeated fifty million Astra Militarum soldiers at Oil Refinery City, prompting the governor to arm the civilians and prepare nuclear weapons as the Orks marched toward the Main Hive City.
• Inquisitor Thraxol told Li Qinwu that he planned to use one hundred nuclear bombs to trigger eruptions and cover the planet in ash and nuclear dust.
• Li Qinwu asked Busi to help him compete to become the Reaver Titan’s chief princeps, and Busi brought him to the Ascension Throne after warning that no candidate had survived its data overflow intact.
