Red Queen

After the message spell was sent, Alice quickly brought people up.

As elites who had survived in the apocalypse for a long time, they possessed basic discernment. Though they were surprised by the suddenly appearing door and the spacious inspection hall, they only discussed it in low voices and lined up according to the rules.

No matter how many private thoughts they had, that was something to consider after leaving this world. For now, honestly doing as they were told was most beneficial to them.

Ryan only glanced at them twice before losing interest. After informing Alva, he used Teleportation magic to leave.

Demiurge had just sent him word that matters there had been dealt with. Now that things here were on track, Ryan planned to go over and take a look.

A figure stepped out of the pitch-black Portal. Ryan surveyed the scene and was slightly surprised.

The Umbrella Corporation executives being controlled had long been part of the plan. There was nothing surprising about it, nor could anything have gone wrong.

But this little projected girl glaring at him so indignantly was the Red Queen, right?

She behaved so intelligently. Had this world's technology truly advanced to the point where a program could develop thought, or were her current expressions merely a calculated disguise?

There was quite a difference between those two possibilities...

"Thanks for the effort, Demiurge."

No longer paying attention to the intelligent projection staring at him, Ryan greeted Demiurge.

"It was merely a simple task, hardly worth mentioning."

"Shall we proceed with the next stage of the plan now, Lord Ryan?"

Demiurge smiled as he asked. After learning this world's characteristics, he and Albedo had devised a great many plans. Although Ryan had rejected some particularly insane ones, quite a few had been approved.
