History

The Jiang Clan’s first emperor carved the Central Province Spirit Realm out of the Heavenly Profound Realm as the clan’s ancestral land. The realm remains the clan’s core residence and is connected to the outside through Jiang Heaven Gate. 1 31

The clan produced numerous Great Emperors in earlier eras. The Twenty-Third Ancestor, who lived 300,000 years ago, was a Great Emperor who mastered the Solar Law and cultivated the Crimson Sun Heaven-Burning Art. By Jiang Ming’s birth, however, the clan had gone nearly ten thousand years without producing another Great Emperor. 1

According to Second Ancestor Jiang Jiuhe, past Jiang Clan Great Emperors rebelled against the Heavenly Dao after discovering that imperial authority left them under its control. The rebellion failed until Jiang Tongshen displayed power beyond a Great Emperor, enabling surviving clan members to escape. Tongshen later created an independent path and injured the Heavenly Dao, but the conflict shattered the Emperor’s Path and prevented new Great Emperors from emerging. 86

Jiang Ming’s birth as bearer of the Solar Divine Body therefore drew exceptional attention within the clan. His physique was considered an Emperor Physique and revived hopes that the Jiang Clan could restore its lost imperial glory. 1

Territory and Administration

Central Province Spirit Realm

The Spirit Realm is the Jiang Clan’s ancestral homeland. Despite its formidable defenses and residents, its residential district resembles an ordinary village.

• Central district — residences and daily life.
• Eastern district — cultivation of heavenly treasures.
• Western district — breeding of rare exotic beasts.
• Northern district — cultivation facilities, including the Divine Ability Hall and Martial Arena. 32
• Clan members normally earn cultivation arts, divine abilities, treasures, and beasts through contribution points gained by service or labor. The Imperial Son may freely access these resources. 32

Jiang Domain

Jiang Domain is the Jiang Clan-controlled territory of Central Province. Members with limited talent may leave the Spirit Realm to govern the province, while the Lord of Jiang Domain is himself a Jiang clansman. 7

The domain maintains authority through both governance and cultivation recruitment.

Imperial Son Succession

The position of Imperial Son is not permanently secured by birth. A peer may challenge the holder on the Martial Combat Platform; victory transfers the title, while a defeated challenger has their cultivation severed and must begin cultivating again. 32

At his coming-of-age ceremony, Jiang Ming ranked third on the World-Suppressing Stele—below only Jiang Tongshen and Jiang Jiuhe—and subsequently defeated all ten of the clan’s leading Nascent Soul prodigies at once. 78 79

• Heaven-Shrouding Grand Array — A Jiang Clan ancestral formation covering Jiang Domain. It draws upon heaven-and-earth power and can only be controlled by Jiang Clan members; it effortlessly suppressed the Lesser Saint Yunshui Sage. 19
• World-Suppressing Stele — An Imperial Artifact left by the first ancestor. Clan descendants who inscribe their names receive its protection; near the stele, non-clan members have their spiritual power sealed and bodies restrained, including Saint Realm cultivators. 78
