Human-Faced Insect

Everyone entered the room.

Glass cabinets lined both sides, filled with human organs soaking in fluid. They gleamed strangely under the warm yellow lights. A sweet, bloody smell mingled with the odor of preservatives and hit them as they entered.

Leorio hunched his shoulders and muttered under his breath.

"What kind of hobby is this? Of all the things he could collect, he chose these. Just looking at them gives me the creeps."

Gon stepped up to a cabinet and peered inside, eyes wide.

"Wow, is that a heart? It's way bigger than a normal one."

"Idiot, don't touch anything. What if it's poisonous?" Killua pulled him back, his gaze sweeping every corner of the room. "There's Nen everywhere. Be careful."

Kurapika walked at the front, his fingers clasped around the chain pendant at his collar.

His gaze passed over the glass cabinets. His expression did not change, but his eyes grew colder.

To him, these exhibits were no different from stones by the roadside. He cared only about his people's eyes.

In the inner room, Tserriednich sat on a leather sofa, his long hair falling behind his shoulders. He twirled a pair of Scarlet Eyes between his fingers.

When he saw them enter, he raised his eyes and smiled.

"Kurapika. You really did dare to come."

He held the Scarlet Eyes up to the light. Their red irises glowed clear and bright beneath it.

"Your people's eyes are beautiful. It took me a long time to gather thirty-six pairs. Every pair is perfect."

Kurapika stood across from him, his fingers tightening slightly.

"Give them back."

"Give them back?" Tserriednich laughed and shook the Scarlet Eyes between his fingers. "Why should I? They're part of my collection. If you want them, take them from me.

"Beat me, and you can
