They watched Benjamin's people disappear into the woods.

"That scared me to death..." he said. "I thought we were really going to fight."

Kurapika looked up at him.
His eyes were still a little red.
But he was smiling.
It was a smile of relief.
"I'm fine," he said. "Thank you, Gon."
"And all of you, too."
He looked around at everyone.
"Thank you."
"What are you thanking us for?" Gon scratched his head and grinned.
"We're friends!"
Killua came over too and patted his shoulder.
"Don't overthink it," he said. "We'll figure out the rest later."
"We'll be on the Dark Continent for a long time anyway."
"We'll have plenty of chances."
Leorio nodded too.
"That's right!" he said. "We'll help you look for them!"
"We'll find every last one of those eyes!"
Genos nodded as well.
"I'll help record any relevant information," he said. "That should make the search more efficient."
Kurapika looked at them all.
Warmth filled his heart.
After so many years of loneliness and hatred,
it felt as though both had faded a little in that moment.
