Glacier Collapse: Falling into the Heavy Cavern Entrance

On the third day after leaving the Far-Northern Ice Domain, the group was making their return journey along the frozen ground at the edge of the glacier.

The lingering effects of the World's Soup still circulated through their bodies, leaving everyone in astonishingly good condition. Leorio walked at the front, humming an off-key tune and occasionally hopping around to test his newfound strength.

"Seriously, this trip to the ice domain was worth it." He turned back with a grin. "I couldn't even carry a hundred-pound rock before, but now I feel like I could carry an ice boulder for ten miles."

"With that little strength of yours, quit bragging." Killua snickered beside him, moving as lightly as the wind. "If you can take one punch from me, I'll believe you."

"Bring it on! Who's afraid of who?"

The two were still fooling around when Kurapika, who had been scouting ahead, suddenly stopped.

"Wait."

He frowned and looked down at the ice beneath his feet.

"What is it?" Gon leaned closer.

"The ice is hollow." Kurapika crouched and lightly tapped the ice layer with his fingers. It gave off a hollow thudding sound. "There's a huge cavity underneath, and the ice is very thin. Everyone be careful and try to go arou—"

Before he could finish.

Crack—

A faint, brittle sound came from beneath their feet.

Everyone froze at once.

The next second.

Boom—!!!

The entire glacier collapsed without warning. This was not a small ice crack, but a collapse across several hundred meters. Like a sheet of paper being torn apart, it sent all six of them plunging into a bottomless abyss of darkness.

"Waaaahhh—!"

Leorio's scream echoed through the darkness.

Gon instinctively tried to grab the ice wall, but the collapse was too fast. Broken ice rained down around
