He sat up and rubbed his eyes, only to find the space beside him empty. All that remained of Saitama's spot was a depression in the ground. The man himself was gone.

"Huh? What?" Killua shot upright, all traces of sleep vanishing. His first reaction was to reach for his waist. "Could that glowing bug have come back?"

The others were roused as well, instantly entering a state of alert.

Kurapika immediately took his chains in hand, Leorio pulled out his portable scalpel, and the lights in Genos's eyes flashed on as he began scanning the surrounding life signs.

"There are no signs of a battle." Genos scanned the area once and relaxed. "Teacher's life signs are deep within the secret realm. His vital signs are stable, and he isn't injured."
