Saitama's "Pretty good" echoed through the room for two seconds.
Then everyone looked at him as if he were a monster.
"...You know eating the Gluttony Fruit will make you burst from overeating, right?" Leorio asked, his face filled with disbelief.
"Of course I do." Saitama looked as if it were only natural. "If I keep eating, doesn't that mean I can keep eating delicious food?"
Leorio: "..."
Killua held his forehead.
Gon's eyes lit up instead. "That actually sounds kind of reasonable?"
"It's not reasonable!" Leorio smacked the back of Gon's head.
Kurapika did not take part in the farce. His gaze remained fixed on the cards spread across the table, his Scarlet Eyes flickering faintly as he rapidly memorized the position of every card.
There were twenty-four cards. He had already turned over two—the Three-Eyed Poison Scorpionfish and the Gluttony Fruit. They were respectively the third card from the left in the top row and the middle card in the second row.
The remaining twenty-two cards were all face down.
"It's my turn."
Leib's voice came from behind his mask, carrying a hint of amusement.
He extended a hand. His fingers were long and slender, his nails trimmed neatly as he casually turned over a card.
The face of the card showed a crab with a golden body and six legs.
"Six-Legged Golden Crab." Glutton adjusted his glasses. "A specialty of the shallow waters of the Dark Continent. Its meat is fresh and sweet and can be eaten raw."
Without a word, Cleaver King pulled a live Six-Legged Golden Crab from the freezer. With a swift motion of his knife, he pried open the shell, sliced the crab meat thinly, and served it on an ice platter.
Leib did not hurry to eat. He turned over another card.
