Pleasure Across Different Genders

Knowing she could get no more out of Aunt Hannah, Bai Zhu had no choice but to take his leave for now.

Back at the old house Hannah and her husband rented to him, Bai Zhu rummaged through everything and changed into a set of inconspicuous old clothes.

He remembered clearly that today happened to be the day the Creation Society held its service.

Rather than making wild guesses, he might as well take a look around the church himself and see whether the system would give him a hint—perhaps even tell him directly which one was "Ella."

"Buzzz—buzzz—"

The dull tolling of bells echoed over the small town. After ringing five times, the believers began making their way toward the church one after another.

Bai Zhu blended into the crowd, head lowered, looking like one of the town's most devout residents.

The moment he stepped into the church's lofty vestibule, he spotted an "old acquaintance."

In the front row, a chubby little boy with narrowed eyes sat ramrod straight, though his round face was full of impatience and irritation.

"Yo! What a coincidence. You came to service too?"

As if he had discovered a new continent, Bai Zhu darted over in a few strides. Ignoring Milluki's murderous glare entirely, he plopped down beside him.

"Can you stay away from me?" Milluki squeezed the words out through clenched teeth.

What kind of person was Bai Zhu? The ultimate troublemaker, with skin thicker than a city wall.

He casually stretched out an arm and hooked it around Milluki's broad, fleshy shoulders.

"What are you talking about? The first time strangers, the second time friends. We're friends now, aren't we?"

"Tch, who's friends with you?" Milluki twisted his body in disgust, trying to shake off the arm, but failed.

Bai Zhu curled his lips into a smile, his gaze seemingly casually sweeping over Milluki's left hand hanging at his side.

Good. No stress response. His nails were still normal.

But he had noticed something even more interesting.

Several metal bugs—one of them the cockroach model he had seen at noon—silently crawled down from Milluki's lowered fingertips to the floor. They quickly merged into the shadows and scattered toward every corner of the church.

The smile on Bai Zhu's face deepened. He leaned close to Milluki's ear and spoke in a voice only the two of them could hear.

"Those little toys of yours are pretty useful. Interested in working together?"

"Get lost! My brother won't let me play with strangers!" Milluki's entire body stiffened, and he nearly jumped up.

"Heh, now that's no fun." Bai Zhu's hand clamped down on his shoulder like iron pliers. "We've met twice already. How are we still strangers? Don't you think so, Milluki?"

He paused, deliberately glancing around. "By the way, where's your brother?"

Just then, a chill swept over from beside him without warning.

On Milluki's other side, a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure slowly turned her head.

The hairs on Bai Zhu's back instantly stood on end, as though he were being watched by a wild beast.

Yet he forced himself to remain composed, the curve of his smile unchanged, and continued speaking to the "beautiful young woman."

"Your ability is really useful. So, have you decided? Want to work together?"

The "beautiful young woman's" cold gaze swept back and forth across Bai Zhu's face. Her red lips parted, but the voice that emerged was unmistakably that of a young man. Clearly, he had no intention of keeping up the disguise around Bai Zhu.

"No need."

"You're too weak."

Heh, listen to that.

If you were out of my sight, I really would have to think it over.

But you're right in front of me. What could I possibly be afraid of? Bai Zhu did not say any of that. Instead, he asked a question no one had expected.

"Can your ability let you experience pleasure from different genders at the same time...?"

"..."

The air fell deathly silent.

The instant those words came out, Milluki broke into a cold sweat.

He stole a terrified glance at his big brother and felt his brother's entire presence change.

Fuck! Is that something a human being would even ask?!

Lunatic! This guy is definitely a lunatic whose brain has been stirred with shit! That's not how you provoke someone!

Milluki felt as though the temperature had dropped several degrees. He watched his brother's black hair tips and beautiful skirt flutter slightly in the utterly motionless air, despite the absence of wind.

A killing intent so dense it seemed tangible pierced toward Bai Zhu.

Bai Zhu, however, acted as though nothing had happened. He even shifted into a more comfortable position, lounging carelessly against the back of his chair.

His posture was relaxed, but between the fingers hidden in his sleeve, a thread of electricity so faint it was nearly invisible crackled into being before vanishing in an instant.

"You don't want to fight me here, do you? That would be such a shame. I came with sincere intentions to work with you brothers. I also have some important intelligence—your ability might prove very useful."

The two sides stood at sword's point.

The one suffering most was Milluki, caught between them.

Though he could not sense Bai Zhu's Nen, his assassin's instincts told him that the man before him was dangerous—no less dangerous than his big brother.

Just as the frozen atmosphere was about to explode, Bai Zhu broke the silence first, his death-seeking voice ringing out again.

"Alright, alright, it was just a joke. Don't take it so seriously. You don't want to fight here either, right? Then why not consider my proposal? There's no need to make things so tense."

He tilted his chin toward the back of the hall.

"Look. Those children I told you about are here."

As soon as he spoke, a group of children dressed in identical white robes emerged from the rear of the hall. The oldest were no more than five or six, while the youngest could barely walk, wobbling forward unsteadily.

The killing intent in Illumi's eyes instantly receded, replaced by absolute focus.

Instinctively, he concentrated his Nen into his eyes and used Gyo.

It would have been better if he had not looked. The moment he did, even Illumi's heart tightened.

These children really did all possess Nen!

Just as Bai Zhu had said, the way Nen flowed through their bodies was chaotic and disorderly. It was clearly innate, untouched by any systematic training.

But what was even stranger was that the essence of their Nen was almost identical!

As though they had been carved from the same mold!

That completely violated the fundamental principle that Nen abilities varied from person to person!

Something was very wrong here.

Illumi slowly turned his head, his hollow catlike eyes locking onto Bai Zhu once more.

"What else do you know?"

"Oh? Now you're willing to ask?" Bai Zhu laughed and mocked him without restraint. "Didn't you just say I was too weak and tell me to get lost?"

"If you want to know, fine." His tone shifted as he stated his condition. "Agree to work with me first."

Illumi silently watched him. No emotion could be seen on that "beautiful" face. Several seconds later, his thin lips parted and uttered a single word.

"Fine."

Only then did Bai Zhu cross one leg over the other with satisfaction, once again throwing an arm casually around Milluki's chubby shoulders as he lazily leaned sideways in his seat.

"Now isn't the time to talk. Once the service is over, come to my place. We can talk slowly."
