Later Kakin recovery records identify “Ella” as the suspected civilian alias of Camilla Hui Kelu, Kakin’s Second Prince. The records describe her as a stray royal-blood candidate subjected to “maternal-body baptism,” “Royal Blood Return to the Nest,” and container transfer, revealing that both the Creation Society and Kakin exploited her body and lineage for their respective rituals 165.

Initially, Ella believed Aaron loved her and retained faith in the Creation Society’s god. After Illumi’s Nen-controlled interrogation forced Aaron to admit that his affection had been entirely fabricated, she was left devastated but chose to survive and seek vengeance for herself and the previous victims 11 12.

Her resolve does not erase her fear. Ella openly admits that she is afraid, but refuses to retreat when the imprisoned women’s lives are at stake 20. She later develops enough composure to deceive cult personnel, question their doctrine publicly, and deliberately cooperate with the team’s infiltration plans 26 27 29.

Her later decision to scatter the refugees and seek help in Meteor City demonstrates that she remains willing to act despite recognizing her own lack of combat strength 130. However, her later appearance as Camilla suggests that trauma, royal recovery procedures, and political pressure may have fractured or altered the identity Bai Zhu and Milluki knew as Ella 244.

When Aaron attacks, Ella shelters behind Bai Zhu and witnesses his effortless defeat of her husband with Hainawa 9. During the subsequent interrogation, Bai Zhu heals her severe abdominal pain with Kaidō No. 33: Angel’s Gaze. She initially mistakes the healing for a divine miracle, briefly restoring her hope before Aaron’s confession destroys it 11.

Aaron’s confession reveals that Ella is the tenth woman selected to carry the cult’s “Holy Infant.” After the truth destroys her attachment to Aaron, she chooses survival and revenge 11 12.

Creation Society Infiltration

Ella becomes the basis for the team’s initial infiltration: Illumi disguises himself as her while Pige Aaron returns to the church under Nen control 12 13. While being escorted underground, Ella questions the cult about the other women, deliberately appears compliant, and permits herself to be drugged so she can reach the Elder and the altar area 27 29. She stalls her guards by acting increasingly weak while Milluki guides her remotely 30.

Sanctification Descent

The Grand Elder attempts to connect Ella, designated Interface Fifteen, to the Black Crystal Mother Stone as the ritual’s core sacrifice. Illumi’s sabotage temporarily prevents the connection, but Ella remains imprisoned in the underground facility 31 32.

She then travels alone to Meteor City, where Illumi’s people eventually find her. There, she reveals her weak Nen perception and provides the group with key intelligence on Creation Society transfer routes, hidden facilities, Husks, and the abnormal Church beneath Meteor City 130 132.

Her observations of three sites are gathered from outside the facilities while accompanied by Illumi’s people. Milluki compares these locations with transport routes and missing-person reports, helping establish that her impressions correspond to important trafficking nodes 131 132.

Kakin Recovery and Royal-Blood Revelation

During the investigation of Kakin-linked sacrificial fleets, recovered footage confirms that Ella is alive and restrained on an altar while her blood is drained into a Kakin-marked vessel 151 154. An apparent Ella subsequently appears at the ruined port, but Bai Zhu exposes her as an artificial Black Gold shell rather than the real woman 155 156 157.

Before the footage is recovered, an independent Zoldyck investigation finds Ella and everyone near her missing from their safe point. Bai Zhu later meets Camilla during a negotiation with the Second Prince’s forces. Camilla travels to the Basha Islands to pursue a researcher who fled a secret Kakin laboratory with important experimental materials. Escaped Creation Society members serving her report that Bai Zhu and Milluki are investigating the same matter, prompting her to move directly against their hotel rather than continue waiting for her own pursuit to succeed 391.

She brings armed guards and a specially sealed suitcase. Her forces clear the lobby and secure the elevators and stairwells leading to Milluki’s suite. Although Milluki recognizes her as Camilla and remembers their hostile separation, she introduces herself at his door with the words, “Mr. Milluki, I’m Ella” 391.

Inside, Camilla corrects Milluki’s understanding of the fugitive: he is a defected researcher who stole the cargo, not merely an escaped experimental subject. Her suggestion that Bai Zhu may be trapped or lost inside the black sphere provokes Milluki, who restrains her with his insects and confronts the defensive arrangement involving her concealed sniper and black cat 392.

Milluki identifies Million Reincarnation Cat as the mechanism behind her revival. Camilla states that her Nen awakened after Sankara, when she wanted above all not to die. With intimidation no longer effective, she offers cooperation and explains that the contaminated food contains failed parasitic Nen Beast embryos 392.

Basha Islands: Infestation and Spatial Confinement

During the later infestation, Camilla repeatedly dies and revives as worms attack and infect her. Several loyal guards activate their abilities on her behalf, allowing her to escape only after dozens of deaths 402.

After escaping, she discovers that the city has been enclosed beneath a black curtain. Replica Case and the Experimental Subject

While evading the pursuing Experimental Subject, Camilla’s silver replica case becomes intensely hot and its indicator lights begin flashing. She realizes that it is resonating with the Overseer’s master case and that their frequencies are interfering with one another 416.
