"Looking to die!"
With a beastly roar, Pige Aaron poured all the malice in his body into his fist. A visible wave of air rolled forth as the punch crashed straight toward Bai Zhu's cheek without any flourish!
That punch gathered all his Nen. Before it even arrived, the violent pressure of his aura made the wooden furniture in the room groan under the strain.
"Ah—!"
Sheltered behind Bai Zhu, Ella let out a terrified scream and instinctively shut her eyes.
Meanwhile, outside the farmhouse.
"Tch, they really started fighting."
Milluki watched the screen go black, chewing potato chips with gleeful malice as he muttered indistinctly.
The car door opened. Illumi had already gotten out and was walking toward the cabin, his pace neither hurried nor slow.
Milluki hurried after him, still muttering under his breath, "Bro, if we stroll over this slowly and that guy gets pounded into meat paste, won't our deal be ruined?"
Illumi did not turn around. He merely replied calmly in his cool adolescent voice.
"If he can't even handle a half-baked amateur like this, then he deserves to die."
His catlike eyes stared at the cabin swaying amid the wind and snow.
The instant the conflict erupted, he became even more certain of one thing.
There truly was not the slightest trace of Nen aura on Bai Zhu's body.
It was far too abnormal.
Even a top expert proficient in "Zetsu" could not possibly maintain such a vacuum-like state when a battle was about to break out. The aura fluctuations inside were already this intense, yet Bai Zhu still seemed like a nonexistent ghost, with no presence to sense at all.
This had completely surpassed the common sense of the Nen ability system. Under such a targeted eruption of Nen, an ordinary person—or someone in Zetsu—should have been frightened stiff.
So, he was curious.
What would someone who overturned the fundamental rules of Nen users use to fight?
Inside the cabin.
The scene indoors was completely different from the bloody spectacle Ella had imagined.
It was as if time had been paused.
Pige Aaron's fist, powerful enough to smash rocks, simply stopped there.
It was pinned three inches before Bai Zhu's face, unable to advance even a fraction farther.
An invisible force completely isolated his violent aura, dissolving it into nothingness.
"W-what?!"
Pige Aaron's pupils suddenly contracted. His arm trembled uncontrollably from the violent impact, yet there was nothing before him. He could not even see the power he had gained through the Creation Society.
That was impossible!
Could his god truly be so powerful that it could grant such might to its believers?
He could not see Bai Zhu make any defensive movement, nor could he sense any rebound from divine power belonging to Bai Zhu's god!
After Pige Aaron's brief shock came even deeper terror. He tried to pull back his fist, only to discover that his wrist seemed to be clamped by an invisible force, unable to move!
Bai Zhu merely stood there, without even the hem of his clothes stirring!
"That's it?"
The disdain on Bai Zhu's face was impossible to hide. He even had the leisure to tilt his head and check Ella's reaction behind him, treating the enraged, frenzied Pige Aaron before him as if he were nothing.
Only after confirming that Ella was still relatively calm did Bai Zhu lazily look back at Pige Aaron.
"You're built like that, but you've only got this much strength? Didn't you eat? Or did that so-called Creation God of yours forget to top you up? Want me to send you a 648 right now?"
By now, Bai Zhu's Reiatsu had already spread throughout the area. Let alone aura at this level, even something ten times stronger would never break through his defenses.
As for mental attacks?
They did not exist.
"Y-you... who the hell are you?!"
After the brief shock came even deeper fear. Pige Aaron tried to pull back his fist, only to find that his wrist seemed welded into the air. He could not pull it free at all!
Bai Zhu could not be bothered to waste any more words on him.
Under Pige Aaron's horrified gaze, he slowly raised his right hand, pressed his index and middle fingers together, and pointed them at Pige Aaron's shoulder from afar.
"I was going to play with you a little longer, but unfortunately, I'm in a hurry. If I still can't deal with you by the time my friend gets here, my impression score will drop quite a bit."
The incantation in his heart had long since been completed. All that remained was a simple hand sign.
"Let me show you what real light is."
A thread of bright yellow light instantly condensed at his fingertips, giving off a faint sizzling sound.
"Bakudo #4: Hainawa!"
There was no earth-shattering boom.
Only an immensely condensed yellow beam shot from Bai Zhu's fingertips!
Pige Aaron instinctively tried to dodge, but Bakudo #4 came with tracking. The room was already so cramped—where could he possibly hide?
The instant the beam struck him, his burly body stiffened violently. As though all strength had been drained from him, he fell straight to the floor.
Yellow ropes of light bound him tightly.
The Nen within him was also sealed by a strange force, and he could no longer muster even the slightest bit of it. Pige Aaron still struggled unwillingly, but the more he struggled, the tighter the light ropes constricted, nearly sinking into his flesh.
Unfortunately, he was yelling far too loudly. It was truly annoying.
Bai Zhu frowned in disgust, glanced around, then casually grabbed a pair of Pige Aaron's own stinking socks from the corner and stuffed them precisely into his mouth.
The room instantly fell silent.
Only the crackling of firewood in the stove and the howling wind and snow outside the window remained.
Bai Zhu withdrew his fingers and lightly blew away nonexistent smoke from his fingertips. Then he turned around and looked at the woman behind him, who had completely frozen.
Ella's eyes were wide open, her small mouth slightly agape as she stared at the scene before her in disbelief.
Everything had happened too quickly. From the man suddenly attacking to being tied up like a rice dumpling by a yellow beam, the entire process had taken less than three seconds.
A harmless, gentle smile hung on Bai Zhu's face as he walked toward her step by step.
"Alright, it's quiet now."
"Ma'am, can we have a proper talk about the 'little treasure' in your belly now?"
