Machi moved into the house, and Luo Ye asked Feitan to help awaken her Nen first.
"Why not do it yourself?" Feitan was quite displeased at being handed an extra task. "You were the one who first brought up this Nen ability."
"Just because I brought it up doesn't mean I know how!" Luo Ye rolled his eyes helplessly. "Mine isn't even a Nen ability!" Even if he demonstrated Kido before them again and again, they still had no way of learning it. It would be better to have Feitan use Nen pressure to awaken Machi's Nen ability directly.
Not a Nen ability? Then what was it? But my intuition tells me he's telling the truth. Machi glanced at Luo Ye, curious about the ability he had used earlier.
"Fine." Feitan ultimately agreed, though his expression remained foul. "I'm busy, so you'd better be quick." He had no time to teach her bit by bit. She had better awaken it in one go under the pressure.
"Thanks. Go ahead." Machi nodded at him. In Meteor City, personal strength was the most important thing. Since Feitan was willing to help improve her strength, she naturally welcomed it. After all, no one else would be so kind.
Machi had good potential. Though Feitan was only half-competent, he still helped her awaken her Nen ability. "Since she's a member of the Phantom Troupe, Machi's talent should be pretty good too." Otherwise, she would not have been able to contend with that group of monsters in the Phantom Troupe, much less keep that pervert Hisoka in check.
Though he seriously suspected that Hisoka simply wanted to flirt with Machi.
"Now that we've all awakened Nen, how should we train next?" Machi, whose Nen had been awakened, looked toward Feitan. Feitan, in turn, looked at Luo Ye, leaving him no choice but to scratch his head awkwardly. "I don't know much about that either." He did not enjoy reading all those settings, so he had basically skipped over Nen training. He only had a vague understanding himself; how could he answer anyone else's questions?
"Then we can only practice on our own for now." Machi frowned, but Feitan refuted her. "No need to make it so troublesome. If Ye doesn't know, isn't there that Zoldyck eldest young master?" Excitement gleamed in Feitan's golden eyes. "Capture him and interrogate him. Wouldn't we learn everything then?"
Before, they could not use Nen, so Ye had not let him make a move. Now that all three of them had Nen abilities, they should be able to catch one brat, right?
"I advise you to stop right there." Luo Ye directly reached out to halt his eagerness. "Setting aside how long he's been using Nen and how he's not comparable to people like us who've only just awakened it, even if we really caught him, you wouldn't be able to interrogate anything out of him. Zoldyck children undergo interrogation from a very young age. Torture is useless against them."
Though he did not understand why a child had to undergo interrogation, that was simply the Zoldyck family's rule.
"Then what do we do? Practice by ourselves?" Feitan narrowed his eyes. "How long would that take?" Just look at him. Before encountering this power, the direction he had taken to become stronger was to make himself faster. But now that there was a way to enhance their strength, they could not even find the method?
Luo Ye thought for a moment. "Illumi likes gold, silver, jewels—anything valuable. If we find something precious and ask him to teach us, he should agree." Illumi was extremely obsessed with Jenny, but Meteor City had no currency. The only option was to find valuable things to trade with him.
Machi frowned. "Gold, silver, and jewels? Meteor City doesn't have things like that." They were neither food nor medicine, nor could they be used as weapons. Such things were useless in Meteor City, so naturally they did not circulate. Where were they supposed to find things that did not circulate?
