The next day, everyone had gotten plenty of rest and was full of energy.
"I'm back from the dead!" Luffy shouted excitedly. "I want meat!"
"Shut up, I don't have time to deal with you right now." Sanji was busy flirting with the attendants who had cared for them, paying Luffy absolutely no attention.
"What an idiot." Zoro was looking for beer.
"Can't those guys quiet down?" Nami looked irritably at the restless group.
"Let them relax a little." Robin smiled.
"I'm still jealous of you, Robin." Nami's eyes were full of envy. "Ming is so mature. He never makes you worry at all."
"Where's Ming?" Chopper walked in carrying a tray of medicine. "It's time to change his dressing. Why has that guy disappeared again?"
"I saw Mr. Ming. It seemed like he went looking for Sky Island specialty liquor." Conis's words made Nami twitch the corner of her mouth.
"You have it rough too, sis." Nami gave Robin a sympathetic look.
"I'm fine, really." Robin's expression became a little unnatural as well.
"This fruit tastes really strange." Whenever Li Ziming saw an unfamiliar fruit at a nearby stall, he bought it to taste and see whether it would work in cocktails. "And maybe because there's so much sunlight here, the fruit is incredibly sweet."
"You really have a lot of free time." Enel walked over, carrying a large bag in one hand and an apple in the other, taking bite after bite.
"Out shopping?" Li Ziming looked amusedly at the former god. "You recovered pretty quickly, huh?"
"What else was I supposed to do?" Enel rolled his eyes indifferently. "Even if I'm not a god anymore, I'm still strong."
"Don't you want to go to Endless Vearth anymore?" Li Ziming teased. "At your level, you'd definitely have a bounty over a hundred million if you went to the Blue Sea."
"Forget it. I'm not God Enel anymore. I'm Waver mechanic Enel. Besides, your captain shattered my dream. Recently, my dream has been to become an outstanding Waver mechanic." Enel pulled an apple from his bag. "Want one?"
"Thanks." Li Ziming accepted Enel's apple.
"Are you planning to take all that gold with you?" Enel looked at Li Ziming. "Not that it's any of my business, but I don't think your ship can carry much."
"I think so too." Li Ziming spoke casually. "We'll take as much as we can. I just hope I can get enough to buy a ship later. By the way, do you know anything about Ship Spirits?"
"Ship Spirits?" Enel froze for a moment. "Never heard of them. Why?"
"There's some trouble. Also, could you give me one of your electric power systems?" Li Ziming asked curiously. "Our ship might need it someday."
"No problem. I did a lot of experiments when I was building the ark, so there are plenty of finished prototypes. Most are smaller models, but they should be enough for you." Enel said it indifferently.
"Then thanks." Li Ziming smiled. "Does Sky Island have any especially good drinks, though?" Since Enel had once been a god, Li Ziming figured he should know Sky Island's beverages well.
"Drinks?" Enel looked at Li Ziming in confusion, not understanding why he was asking. "I think Conis's pumpkin juice is pretty good."
"I know. Are there any unusual ones? Something really rare?" Li Ziming hoped to find something that could not be made in the Blue Sea, but after looking around, he found that most drinks could also be found on the Grand Line. He was a little disappointed.
"Unusual?" Enel thought for a moment. "That reminds me of something. I seem to remember someone using spices to brew liquor. The taste was quite bizarre, and I thought it was so strange that I specifically asked about it."
"Can you take me there now?" Li Ziming's eyes lit up. Liquor brewed with spices sounded incredibly interesting, and he became curious at once.
"Wait a bit. I still need to buy some things. Once I'm done, I'll take you there." Enel shook the bag in his hand.
Li Ziming could barely wait. He immediately dragged Enel off to shop.
At last, Enel took Li Ziming to get that liquor. Li Ziming eagerly returned to his room to savor it, and Robin walked in at that moment.
"What are you doing this for? He may be a Logia..." Robin looked at Li Ziming in confusion, but her expression quickly darkened. "Do you think something will happen later?"
"Isn't it possible?" Li Ziming looked helplessly at Robin. "There are a lot of people with stories on our ship."
"You..." Robin shot Li Ziming a helpless glance.
"The most important matter lately is probably the ship." Li Ziming briefly explained the situation involving the Going Merry and Edward.
"A Ship Spirit?" Robin said in surprise. "I never thought something from legends would actually exist."
"That's normal. Didn't we prove that the legendary Shandora existed too?" Li Ziming smiled. "Aren't the legends of this world waiting for us to uncover them one by one?" As he spoke, Li Ziming took out a glass of golden liquor. "Want to try it? Golden Dream."
"Golden Dream? That name really suits this place and our goal." Robin sat down. "It tastes good."
"Of course." Li Ziming said proudly.
"You really are confident. All right, let's talk about Ship Spirits. I don't know much about them, but if you want to know, I can tell you what I know." Robin said helplessly.
"Are you asking me out?" Li Ziming grinned at Robin.
"You..." Robin directly grabbed the soft flesh at Li Ziming's waist and pinched it hard.
"Sorry, sorry." Li Ziming hurriedly apologized awkwardly.
Robin gave him a look that said he knew better, then began telling him some legends about Ship Spirits.
"Ming!" Luffy shouted as he entered Li Ziming's room. "Oh, Robin's here too. Perfect, I've got an idea! Let's grab all the gold and run away!"
"That really is an interesting idea." Robin immediately laughed.
"Grab it? Run away?" Li Ziming looked helplessly at Luffy. "Why would I do that?"
"We're pirates, so of course we rob people." Luffy said as if it were only natural.
"You've got a point. So, is everyone else ready?" Li Ziming asked curiously.
"Of course!" Luffy said proudly. "We're all ready. Let's go move the gold now!"
Before long, Luffy led Li Ziming and Robin to the Sky Lord. Zoro and the others were already waiting there.
"You guys took way too long." Sanji looked displeased at Li Ziming. "You actually made Nami wait this long!"
"Sorry, sorry. I found some fragments from Enel's ark, though. This should be enough, right?" Li Ziming smiled apologetically.
"How much?" Nami's eyes had already turned into Beli symbols.
"Not bad, I guess. I don't really know the current price of gold." Li Ziming shrugged.
"Good brother!" Nami immediately hugged Li Ziming excitedly.
"Her figure's really nice." Nami's hug briefly distracted Li Ziming, but the pain at his waist made him helplessly spread his hands toward Robin, indicating that he was innocent.
"..." Robin ignored Li Ziming, turned, and left. All that remained was Li Ziming's helpless sigh and the cat burglar quietly adding another debt to Li Ziming's tab.
After that, everyone began moving gold again.
The next day arrived quickly, and the people of Sky Island resumed their daily lives.
"Huh? Where did everyone go?" Conis asked in confusion.
"They left." Enel yawned. "Last night, those guys moved the gold from inside the Sky Lord's stomach, then asked me for Balloon Octopuses. They're probably getting ready to leave by now."
"We clearly wanted to give them more gold." Pagaya said regretfully. "Those people were all good people."
"Yeah." Conis nodded. "Enel, will we be able to meet Mr. Luffy and the others again someday?"
"We will." Enel glanced at the Den Den Mushi in his arms. "I just have a feeling that as long as we get involved with those guys, trouble will never end..."
