Undersea Crisis

"What's wrong?" Cook asked.

Simon pointed ahead. "Something's approaching from over there."

Cook frowned. He hadn't seen anything. After all, they were in the deep sea, and their range of vision was limited.

Among them all, Simon had the sharpest eyes. As a sniper, he cared greatly about his eyesight and could see things from far away. But this was the deep sea—could he have been mistaken?

Out of trust in their companion, and considering where they were, they had no choice but to take it seriously. Everyone came over and stared ahead.

Finally, as time passed, an enormous and incredibly ugly face appeared before them.

"So ugly."

"Way too ugly."

At the sight of that face, the catgirl sisters frowned and spoke in unison.

Even Rogge thought it was hideous. It was covered in wrinkles, like layer upon layer of loose skin left behind after a five-hundred-pound fat man got liposuction. It was utterly disgusting.

"Devouring Fish!"

The moment Cook saw it, sweat drenched his forehead as he cried out.

"What fish?" Jelly asked in confusion.

"This thing is way too ugly." Ham stepped forward to get a better look.

The fish was enormous. With its mouth open, it could probably swallow the Ark in a single bite, no less imposing than the Sea Kings. But compared to the Sea Kings, this fish was not only bizarre, but ugly as well.

"Stop talking nonsense. Enel, make your move. It's a deep-sea Devouring Fish. Thirty percent of the ships destroyed at sea were ruined by Devouring Fish. These fish are blind. They can't see outside, but they can sense the currents and block their path, waiting for the current to deliver prey to them, and then..." Cook said.
