"Don't worry, they're all my companions. They're not exactly good people, but you don't need to be afraid. When did this place open? How come I've never been here before?" Cook asked.
"Hey, how can you introduce us like that in front of a lovely mermaid? Since when aren't we good people?" Rogge snapped.
"Of everyone on this ship, you have the least right to call yourself a good person," Cook said.
"I think so too," Jelly said, holding back a laugh.
"Get lost." Rogge shoved him. "I'm your captain, and you're talking about me like that? Do you girls think I'm bad too?"
The Cat-Wife Sisters froze for a moment, then the younger sister, Doloi, said shyly, "The captain is a little naughty."
"Ahem!" Rogge nearly choked on his own spit.
Doloi came to her senses as well. Realizing she seemed to have let something private slip, she immediately covered her face and buried it against her older sister Dolos's chest.
"Tch!"
Everyone curled their lips at once, feeling both envious and helpless.
The Cat-Wife Sisters were their companions, but they also belonged to Rogge. After all, he had bought them and saved their lives. They paid no attention to anyone but him, eating and sleeping wherever he did, practically attached to him.
