The entire Fish-Man District fell utterly silent. Hody Jones stared at Rogge, dumbfounded.

Rogge came before him, but Hody Jones failed to react for a moment.

Rogge reached out and grabbed him by the throat. Hody Jones had no strength to resist at all. Only when Rogge lifted him off the ground did he finally react.

"You—you did what?" Hody Jones asked in horror.

Rogge looked at him, squeezing his throat as he lifted him up. "A bunch of ants living beneath the sea. Consider this a lesson for you today."

With that, Rogge slammed him hard against the ground.

The ground split apart. Hody Jones cried out and lay unconscious in the crater, blood continuously spilling from his mouth.

Rogge returned to Cook's house and closed the door.

Cook arranged lodging for them. Since that house had been occupied by the drunken Hyouzou, it was a complete mess. Even upstairs, they could see wine bottles scattered everywhere. After cleaning it up, a heavy smell of alcohol still lingered.

For people who went out to sea, the smell of alcohol was not unpleasant. They were used to it. Smelling the alcohol, the group went to sleep.

The next morning, Rogge suggested going to Ryugu Palace for a look. Cook did not hesitate and decided to take them there. After all, since they had already come to Fish-Man Island, it would be a shame not to visit Ryugu Palace. They did not know whether they would ever have another chance to return to Fish-Man Island.

When they stepped outside, the fish-men who had collapsed in the Fish-Man District the previous day had disappeared. All that remained on the ground was a bloodstained crater.
