"Come on. Let me see how strong you've become."
A crowd of beasts watched from around a clearing. Every one of them was enormous, like a giant, and some were even more powerful than giants. Yet in the few days since Rogge had arrived, they had all submitted to him.
Enel stood across from Rogge, while Ham and the others watched. This was the second time they had seen the two face off since leaving Sky Island. As the two strongest fighters in the crew, Rogge and Enel had Ham and the others eager to see how far they had come.
Enel had learned Armament Haki, though he was still clumsy with it. He was also a Logia Devil Fruit User.
Rogge, meanwhile, was a monster. None of them knew how strong he had become. This fight would tell them.
Enel wasted no words. He looked at Rogge and raised his Golden Staff.
Black Armament Haki coiled around his arm and covered the staff, turning its gold surface black.
Gold was a poor material for a weapon. It was too soft, nowhere near as hard as forged steel. But Enel liked to show off. His staff had been broken countless times in fights since he entered the New World; even Donquixote Doflamingo's strings could slice through it with ease.
Still, he had never considered replacing it. Rogge did not know why. Perhaps gold's conductivity made it better suited to Enel's Devil Fruit power.
"Hah!"
Enel gave a low shout. A streak of lightning was all that remained where he had stood; he had already vanished.
"Oh, he's going straight in? He's not going to test Rogge with lightning first?" Jelly said excitedly.
"Getting close to Rogge isn't smart," Cook said, shaking his head.
"What are you all looking at?" Ares
