"Damn you, Shiki! Do you have to do the exact opposite of whatever I ask you to do?" Rocks cursed.
Still, Rocks was not really angry. Golden Lion was just the sort of man who deserved a beating.
"Can't be bothered with you. This is as fast as I go. Take it or leave it." Golden Lion folded his arms and glanced down at him. Are you kidding me? It's free, and you still want speed? Why don't you go rob someone, damn it?

Whitebeard leaned against the railing, a wine gourd in his hand. His gaze rested on the noisy figures, a faint smile on his face.
He did not know when it had started, but this bunch did not seem so annoying anymore. Their tongues were just a little sharp.
He watched for a while, then moved the wine gourd to his side, offering it to Kaido, who lay on the deck with his hands behind his head and his eyes on the sky.
"Stop looking half-dead all day. Have a little drink."
Kaido's expression did not change. His gaze remained fixed on the gray-white sky as he retorted stiffly, "Don't talk nonsense. How am I gloomy?"
"Gurararara. Your worries are written all over your face." Whitebeard laughed.
Kaido abruptly sat up and vehemently denied it. "They are not!"
"Heh heh..."
Whitebeard did not keep arguing. He merely changed his tone, softening his voice a little. "Ron didn't take you because the mission Rocks gave him must be too dangerous."
Kaido frowned. "What the hell? Who's he looking down on? I've gotten stronger, and I'm an official crew member now. Right, Newgate?"
With that, Kaido turned toward Whitebeard, as though waiting for confirmation.
Whitebeard nodded while holding back his laughter.
