Personality

His loyalty to his crew outweighs that pride. When Marco’s wound from Lynn’s Special Beam Cannon cannot regenerate and Lynn prepares another attack, Whitebeard concedes the challenge rather than risk Marco’s life. 45

He is also capable of sober judgment. During Lynn’s fight with Benn Beckman, Whitebeard recognizes that Lynn lacks veteran experience and refined Haki usage, while still acknowledging the child’s exceptional potential. 47
