Dugu Bo slowly lowered his hand, the astonished expression on his face gradually fading, replaced by an extremely calm emptiness.

He was numb.

From sending him flying with a single punch to vomiting blood with only 30% of his strength, from casually picking up External Soul Bone to knocking down Titan Giant Ape with a single palm strike, his cheap disciple has reshaped his understanding of things far too many times.

If the shock continued, he felt that his heart would eventually break down.

Forget it, I don't want to think about it anymore. I'm used to it.

His only apprentice was a monster, and he accepted that.

Anyway, this monster is his own apprentice, not someone else's.

That alone is enough to make him laugh in his sleep every night.

Meanwhile, as the Titan Giant Ape fell, a pink figure was flung away from its grasp.

Xiao Wu did several somersaults in the air before landing steadily on a treetop.

She had barely steadied herself when she saw Er Ming lying on the ground in a terrible state.

The king of the forest, who had grown up with her since childhood, was now lying in the pit.

Xiao Wu's eyes widened, her mouth slightly agape, her face filled with disbelief.

Then she turned her head sharply and looked at the small, green figure standing in the tree.

Under the moonlight, Jiang Lan stood with his hands behind his back, his Blue Robe billowing in the night wind, his high ponytail swaying gently in the breeze.

That usually soft and cute little face didn't show much expression, only the calm after withdrawing her palm, as if she had just clapped her hands.

Jiang Lan glanced down at Er Ming at the bottom of the pit, turned around, and landed lightly back on the ground. The hem of her Blue Robe rose and fell slightly with the movement, without making a single extra sound.

As Xiao Wu watched this scene, only one thought remained in her mind: This is so cool!

No, that's not the point. The point is that Er Ming blow.

Er Ming, whom she had played with since childhood, was knocked to the ground by a child in a Blue Robe and has not gotten up since.

Just who is this child?

After Jiang Lan landed, she heard a soft, sweet "doro" sound behind her.

He turned around and saw Doro crawling out of the pile of leaves, his round belly covered with leaves and dirt, his bun askew to one side, and his ribbon bow almost coming undone.

Those big purple eyes still held lingering tears, and the little dumpling looked extremely aggrieved, like a cotton candy that had been knocked off the shelf.

"Doro, are you alright?" Jiang Lan rushed to Doro and asked with concern.

Doro rubbed his butt and said, "My butt hurts a little."

Jiang Lan took Doro's hand and said, "Come on, let's ask it for compensation."

Doro nodded, agreeing with Jiang Lan's suggestion.

Jiang Lan held Doro's little hand and walked step by step to the edge of the huge pit.

Moonlight spilled onto the bottom of the pit, where the Titan Giant Ape Er Ming lay on his back amidst the broken soil and twigs, his chest rising and falling slightly. His lantern-sized yellow crystal eyes were half-open, his pupils constantly shifting between unfocused and focused.

Having lived for so many years, it has experienced being knocked away by humans before, but being slapped away by a human cub that is not even as tall as its toes is an experience it has never had before.

Jiang Lan released Doro's hand, cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone, and shouted towards the bottom of the pit, "Hey! Big guy! You made my Doro cry! Pay up!"

Er Ming's eyelids twitched, and his pupils struggled to focus on the small, bluish figure at the edge of the pit.

"What did you say?"

"I said, pay up!" Jiang Lan said, enunciating each word clearly. His voice echoed through the woods, causing loose soil to fall from the edge of the pit.

Doro, standing behind him, also puffed out his round belly, put his two short little hands on his hips, stared at the giant ape at the bottom of the pit with his big purple eyes, and let out a loud "Doro!"

"Yes! Pay me money! And also compensation for emotional distress!"

Er Ming remained silent for a moment, its brain processing information at top speed.

It, the Titan Giant Ape, the overlord of the Star Dou Great Forest, had just casually brushed aside a tiny white creature, only to be slapped into a pit by an even smaller one.

Now these two little ones are standing by the pit, making it pay money.

Er Ming propped himself up with his enormous hand, shook his head, and brushed the dirt and leaves from his fur. "I have no money."

After listening, Jiang Lan turned to look at Doro: "It said it has no money."

Doro's cheeks immediately puffed out, and he made a huge circle in front of his chest with his two little hands. "If you don't have money, you can use something as collateral! It's so big, it must have some treasure!"

Jiang Lan nodded and shouted down into the pit again, "No money? Fine! You can pay with something! You're the King of the Forest, you must have some possessions!"

Er Ming stared blankly at the two small figures on the edge of the pit: a human cub in Blue Robe high ponytail, and a white ball of fluff with its hands on its hips and cheeks puffed out.

The two of them combined weren't even as big as one of its palms, yet they beat it into a pit and made it pay compensation.

This is the first time it has ever encountered something like this in all its years of life.

Er Ming scratched the back of his head with his huge hands, making a few low gurgling sounds.

He explained to Jiang Lan that he was only responsible for guarding the forest and didn't collect treasures; the only valuable thing he owned was his fur.

But you can't give them the fur, or they'll go bald.

Jiang Lan translated Er Ming's meaning to Doro, and Doro's cheeks puffed out even more, waving his two little hands in the air.

"I don't care, I don't care! It hurt my butt, I can't just let this go!"

Just as the human, the soul, and the ape were locked in a stalemate, a pink figure gracefully descended from the treetop.

Xiao Wu landed at the edge of the pit. She first glanced at the pitiful Er Ming at the bottom of the pit, then at Jiang Lan who was standing with his hands on his hips and a serious expression, and finally her gaze fell on Doro who was still rubbing his butt.

"Um... I'm sorry!" Xiao Wu clasped her hands together, bowed deeply to Jiang Lan and Doro, her voice full of apology. "Er Ming didn't mean it. It's just that it walks around so carelessly, never looking where it's going. It really didn't mean any harm, it's just... it's just not very bright."

Er Ming, at the bottom of the pit, let out a wronged cry, seemingly wanting to refute the assessment that his brain wasn't quite up to par, but after thinking about it, he felt there was nothing to refute, so he could only silently lower his big head.

Xiao Wu, realizing she didn't have much, said somewhat awkwardly, "Well, we don't have anything valuable. How about this, I'll owe you three a favor. As long as it's not too unreasonable, I can agree."

Jiang Lan looked at Xiao Wu, tilted his head, and his high ponytail swayed with his movement.

He thought about it carefully, then turned to look at Doro.

"Doro, she said she can owe the three of us a favor, what do you think?"

Doro rubbed his butt, his big purple eyes scanning Xiao Wu up and down, then looked at Er Ming at the bottom of the pit, who was still scratching the back of his head with a pitiful Er Ming: "Three favors are barely enough to compensate me for my emotional distress."
