He is also a pragmatic cultivator. Unlike Gu Yuena, who initially lacks familiarity with human Soul Master limits, Di Tian evaluates Lu Yuan’s physical condition, recommends strengthening him with a Soul Bone before obtaining a Soul Ring, and consistently selects compatible Soul Beasts and resources for him 6 7.

Despite his severity, Di Tian is deeply protective of those he accepts as family. Background / History

Di Tian had cultivated for eight hundred thousand years but was forced to suppress further advancement. He explains that the Divine Realm imposed Heavenly Tribulations on Soul Beasts every hundred thousand years while also preventing them from becoming gods; after surviving to his current level, he no longer dares to advance too quickly 16.

When Lu Yuan’s Martial Soul awakened, Di Tian detected a Dragon Clan aura so pure that it seemed to surpass his own bloodline. Confused and unsettled, he intercepted the six-year-old Soul Scholar, ordered him to come along, and brought him to the Lake of Life under Gu Yuena’s authority 2 3.

Di Tian later accompanied Gu Yuena to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where he emotionally reunited with the remnant souls of the Fire Dragon King and Ice Dragon King. The encounter renewed his resolve to restore the Dragon Clan and oppose the human gods responsible for its suppression 15 16 17.

Lu Yuan’s Adoption and Early Cultivation

Di Tian becomes the practical force behind Lu Yuan’s extraordinary early advancement. He corrects Gu Yuena’s proposal of a hundred-year first Soul Ring, arranges a Soul Bone to reinforce Lu Yuan’s body, and captures compatible dragon-type Soul Beasts for his first two rings 6 7.

He also provides Lu Yuan with the Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew, believing the herb can raise his spiritual power enough to challenge the ten-thousand-year limit for a third Soul Ring 17.

Reclaiming Dragon Clan Heritage

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Di Tian defends the resting place of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings from the intelligent Immortal Herbs and follows Gu Yuena’s order to relocate the plants to the Lake of Life 15. He later distributes those resources among Star Dou’s inhabitants, treating them as cultivation assets for the forest’s future 17.

Xiao Xiao and the Avengers Alliance

After Xiao Xiao is rescued from assassins, Di Tian is shocked by her Twin Martial Souls and Innate Full Soul Power. He quickly decides to cultivate her as a future powerhouse for the Soul Beast faction 20.

He offers Xiao Xiao protection, resources, and the prospect of becoming a Super Douluo if she joins the Avengers Alliance. After she agrees, he secures her first Soul Ring, poses as her Titled Douluo master before the Xiao Family, and permits her to visit home for two months each year 21 23.

Gu Qiu’er’s Future

Di Tian initially resists Gu Yuena’s plan to let the Three-Eyed Golden Lion pursue human form and godhood, fearing that Star Dou Forest cannot afford to lose its Auspicious Beast. Gu Yuena forces him to confront whether he sees her as a tool or family; Di Tian ultimately accepts her autonomy and promises that Star Dou will remain her refuge 21 22.

After her transformation into Gu Qiu’er, Di Tian warmly recognizes her, insists that she receive a human name before leaving the forest, and remains concerned for her safety in the outside world 26.

Lu Yuan’s Seventh Soul Ring and Earth Vein Ability

Di Tian escorts Lu Yuan to the Evil Demon Forest to acquire a suitable seventh Soul Ring. There, he kills a Hundred-Thousand-Year Evil Eye Tyrant, allowing Lu Yuan to absorb its blood-red Soul Ring and advance to Soul Sage 90 91 92.

When Lu Yuan subsequently gains the ability to infiltrate Earth Veins and manifest distorted replicas of the dead, Di Tian is startled by its implications. He questions why Lu Yuan uses Ma Xiaotao as a test subject and immediately considers stronger historical figures that could be manifested against Shrek Academy 92.

The Golden Hawksbill Turtle Schemes

Di Tian captures the Golden Hawksbill Turtle after Lu Yuan identifies it as the thief who stole Life Gold from the Lake of Life. Under Gu Yuena’s force, the turtle expels the stolen Life Gold, and Di Tian keeps it under Star Dou’s control 110.

He then helps Lu Yuan use the turtle in an illusion-driven trap for Huo Yuhao and Yan Shaozhe. Di Tian pretends to punish them for harming the “Imperial Auspicious Beast,” striking both after the false Attribute Guidance concludes 111 112.

Later, after learning that the turtle may be part of a divine plot to seize Soul Beast fortune, Di Tian beats it into accepting human transformation and an infiltration mission at Shrek Academy. The transformed turtle becomes Wang Chun’er 117.

Dragon Valley and the Dragon God’s Legacy

Di Tian accompanies Lu Yuan’s group into Dragon Valley and explains that its Heavenly Origin Force can temper Dragon-type Martial Souls and strengthen the body 120.

When Lu Yuan returns with treasures from the Dragon God, Di Tian urges Gu Yuena to absorb the nine-colored healing sphere immediately. He is also stunned by the God-Bestowed Soul Rings disguised as Nine-Colored Beans 128. Although Lu Yuan requests that the Dragon God directly elevate Di Tian to the Divine Tier, the Dragon God refuses, leaving Di Tian’s future advancement as part of Lu Yuan’s responsibility in rebuilding the Dragon Clan 127.
