Background

Bai Xiaotian was a disciple of Daoist Luo’s lineage at Spring Autumn Temple and one of its three Inner Disciples. Unlike Shen Luo, he possessed exceptional cultivation aptitude, having mastered the Minor Transforming Yang Art in two months. He cultivated the Pure Yang Sword Art and had entered the Qi Refining Stage by the time Shen Luo began studying true cultivation. 9 44

He befriended Shen Luo after the latter joined the temple, offering encouragement when others wagered that Shen would fail to reach the Minor Transforming Yang Art’s beginner stage. Bai supplied Shen with talisman materials and Yuan Stones, while carefully refusing to disclose the sect’s restricted Talisman Arts. 5 6 9 45
