Huo Hai did not yet understand all the benefits of the Perfect Foundation Establishment granted by the Body-Refining Three-Spirit Formation. Danger and reward often went hand in hand. The formation was no exception.

Injuries that should have taken Huo Hai days, perhaps even a month or two, to recover from healed with astonishing speed under their influence. After just one night, he was almost completely recovered. Even the broken bones in his chest had knit back together.

He examined himself and found no hidden injuries, as though he had never been hurt at all. The Bloodline pathways obstructed by his injuries had been forced open by surging Blood Qi.
