With a startled cry, Yun'er immediately ran behind Huo Hai to hide, peeking out with half her head to watch Blood Rose cautiously. At that sight, Blood Rose could not have lost her temper even if she had wanted to.
Yun'er looked far too innocent. Compared with her, Blood Rose felt as though she were guilty of every unforgivable crime. She shook her head and said softly, "Little sister, don't be afraid. I won't do anything to you, so relax." Everyone around them stared at Blood Rose with wide eyes, disbelief written all over their faces.

Yet not far away, greed gleamed in Hao Chen's eyes. Noticing that gaze, Huo Hai frowned slightly and wondered whether he should find an opportunity to eliminate the fellow.
Blood Rose nodded emphatically and offered a string of reassuring words before Yun'er finally relaxed. Even then, she did not approach Blood Rose, but ran into Fang Biya's arms instead. Clearly, she had been frightened just now.
