The Reason to Grow Stronger

Mt. Coronet was home to countless wild Pokémon. For a Trainer, it was a rare and invaluable training ground.

But opportunity and danger coexisted here. Most of the wild Pokémon living here were incredibly strong.

Hu Yang stood behind a large boulder and looked toward the group of wild Golem, Graveler, and Geodude that had tried to attack when he first landed.

From Hu Yang's observations, they seemed to be the local roadblocks. They occupied this path, specifically stopping passing Trainers and robbing them of their food.

The group of Golem blocked the road ahead. To pass through this area and enter Mt. Coronet's interior, he would have to defeat them first.

"Metagross, I'll leave it to you," Hu Yang said.

Metagross nodded. Its silver-white body silently flew out and arrived above the group of Golem. A Gravity Field instantly spread outward from it.

The next second, the Golem were tightly pinned to the ground. Even the floating Geodude lost their ability to hover.

Seeing this, the Golem let out panicked cries, but restrained as they were, they could not fight back at all.

Hu Yang then stepped out from behind the boulder. He glanced at the Golem, then walked between them and entered the cave behind them.

When Metagross saw Hu Yang enter, it withdrew its power and flew in after him.

"Drip! Drip!"

Clear dripping sounds came from the depths of the dark, cavernous cave. They echoed continuously through the vast space, sounding especially distinct in the absolute silence.

Hu Yang released his Aura. The cave's layout and everything inside it immediately appeared in detail within his mind.

This cave extended in all directions, with passageways dug by wild Pokémon stretching ever deeper.

Wild Pokémon wandered through those tunnels.
