Sitting on Buffalo's back with his arm around Monet, Werther looked down at Island and smiled.

Buffalo flew fast. In just two hours, he had reached the skies above Dressrosa.

"Finally, we're back. At least we didn't run into a rainstorm this time."

"N-no, don't touch me there."

Monet's faint voice came from beside Werther.

Werther had taken plenty of liberties with the adorable Monet lately. At first, she had resisted now and then, but by now she could barely be bothered.

"Come on, don't be shy. How about we study the origins of humanity later?"

"As if I'd go with you. Get your hand out. That tickles."

Monet pulled Werther's hand out from beneath her top at her armpit, exposing a broad patch of snow-white skin.

Werther paid no mind to being rejected yet again.

They had returned to Dressrosa.

Looking at Island before him, Werther couldn't help thinking of Buga Island.

Dressrosa was much better off than Buga Island, but some problems still needed addressing, particularly the matter of the Human Race.

Now that he had allied with Doffy, Werther intended to offer him a few suggestions. That would make Dressrosa more stable in the years to come.

Before long, Buffalo landed on the King's Plateau. Even from a distance, Werther could see Pica training in an open space.

Hearing the noise of the propeller on Buffalo's neck, Pica looked up at them.

"Lord Werther, welcome back."

Pica's shrill voice rang out, but Werther had grown used to it and no longer found it funny.

"Pica, you really have gotten a lot stronger. If you run into trouble with Armament Haki, come to me."

Pica's face lit up at Werther's words, though he still hesitated.

"Don't be embarrassed. We're allies. It's no trouble."
