Everyone stared blankly at the scene before them. The Source of Life had just been brought to Tony's mouth. He had barely opened it, his lips only just touching the stone, when the Source of Life became a ribbon of red light and slipped inside.
"Uh!"
"So that's how you're supposed to eat it?"
Everyone applauded, feeling as though they'd learned something new.
"Was that in the records?" Momonga watched Tony anxiously, looking extremely tense.
At Momonga's question, Shanks blinked in confusion. "Uh, this is my first time seeing it too. Why don't we ask?"
No sooner had the thought occurred to him than Shanks cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted at Tony.
"Hey, Tony! What does it taste like?"
Momonga: "..."
Benn Beckman: "..."
Who the hell cared about that?!
"The taste?" Tony actually smacked his lips, as if savoring it.
"A little sweet! And..."
At that, a red flash crossed Tony's eyes. "So... spicy... aaah!!!"
By the end, Tony's voice had become an inhuman Roar.
The piercing sound waves spread outward, kicking up a gust that swept away all the nearby dirt and dust.
"Oh, is it starting already?" Shanks watched excitedly as red light gradually enveloped Tony. "I feel a little bad putting you through so much pain, but..."
Cracks began opening all over Tony as he roared at the sky. Endless red light burst from them like searchlights, staining everything around him bloodred.
