Loa cupped his chin and pondered for two seconds. Then he tilted his head and smiled. "Because you're a pirate, and I intend to wipe out pirates. Is that reason enough?"

Charlotte Linlin paused, then sneered. "That's just the excuse you used to spare Sengoku and the others!"
The details of Loa's battle with the Marine leaders were top secret. Only a handful of people knew what had happened; even the Yonko were in the dark. But one look at Sengoku and the others' injuries, then at Loa's vigorous condition, made it clear that the Marine leaders had joined forces and still lost badly.
