Elite Camp's field missions generally fell into three categories.

The first was the assessment required for graduation. Candidates could request three warships and their full complements of soldiers, then serve as captains and lead the fleet to eliminate or capture a target.

Apart from the graduation assessment, the other two kinds of field mission were much easier.

For one, Zephyr personally led the team to sea, offering the best guarantee of safety. But because of what had happened a few years ago, he had not done so in a long time.

The other was the kind Loa now faced: several Elite Camp members, up to ten, were assigned to a team and sent out on a field mission.

Though it was a real mission, the members' safety still came first. They could request up to three accompanying warships, and one Vice Admiral could travel with them.
