The fire still burned. Most of the buildings had been reduced to rubble. Colonel Shu led his Marines in taking down pirates and guiding Civilians aboard the ships, glancing toward the center of town from time to time.
As the dust and smoke slowly cleared, everyone saw the newcomer. He was a burly man with long purple hair and a purple beard. His belt bore the word "Champion," and he wore a wrestler's mask. He leaped out of the crater his landing had made.

Dust billowed up, and cracks spread across the ground. The impact snapped everyone nearby back to their senses. The invading pirates were stunned. They eyed the figure warily, then turned to Jozu with a hint of gloating.
Jozu's face darkened. The Ice Witch, Xuebai Zhipei, and her crew clenched their teeth as they stared at the newcomer, their eyes burning with hatred and fury.
"Lord Sword Master, who is that big guy? Why does he feel so strong?" Shangyang sensed the man's powerful presence. Even from this distance, the pressure unsettled Shangyang so badly that four feathers fell from its body.
"Lord Sword Master?" Wuli blinked. The little creature hadn't addressed him so respectfully in ages. This uninvited guest must have made it feel threatened.
At Shangyang's question, Wuli studied the towering figure, his expression growing grave. "'Champion' Jesus Burgess! Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates' first ship and their helmsman! He's incredibly powerful!"
But why is he here? Was the ship you said was hidden in the fog carrying the Blackbeard Pirates? Then was the other hidden ship carrying whoever pressed the Golden Den Den Mushi and launched the Buster Call?! Wuli was horrified.
