Ye Chen vs. Ain

"Do not interfere with our official business. Otherwise, don't blame us for being rude!" An argument gradually broke out outside the door. Black Arm Zephyr was simmering with anger, his voice extremely stern. Shakky refused to back down, adamantly unwilling to yield. Ye Chen's eyes darted anxiously, while Olvia's body trembled uneasily with worry, afraid that the Marines would suddenly swarm inside. "Ye Chen... what should we do now?"

After glancing at Olvia, Ye Chen gritted his teeth and handed Oto and Kogarashi to her. "Wait here for me. I'll go out and hide for a while. Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"Ah..." Olvia blankly accepted the swords. Just as she was about to ask how Ye Chen intended to leave, she saw him stride into the kitchen. Olvia hurriedly followed him inside. Ye Chen went to the window and shook his shoulders. His bones crackled sharply, and his whole body immediately shrank by a size, allowing him to squeeze through the narrow gap in the iron window.

Ye Chen looked back at Olvia and beckoned to her. Thinking he had something to tell her, Olvia hurried to the window. Ye Chen grabbed her hand and quickly planted a light kiss on the back of it. "Wait for me. Then we'll go find Robin together!"

With that, Ye Chen returned his body to normal and sprinted toward a patch of woods in the distance. In the blink of an eye, he had vanished from sight.

Olvia froze for a moment. Two blushes suddenly crept across her fair cheeks. She was both embarrassed and annoyed. Ye Chen was still so young, yet he was already getting handsy with her. What did he mean by that? Was it because he could not bear to part with her, or was he trying to confess something?

Back in Freezing Hell, Ye Chen had often made physical contact with Olvia while caring for her. At first, Olvia had been able to treat Ye Chen as a child and had not taken it to heart. But as time passed, she could still sense something in Ye Chen's fiery gaze.

Setting aside the difference in their ages, what Ye Chen had done truly moved Olvia, even stirred her heart. Whether it was his unwavering care, their physical contact, or the fact that he had been willing to kneel before Golden Lion to save her, everything Ye Chen had done was deeply engraved in the depths of Olvia's heart. But Ye Chen was still too young.

While Olvia's heart remained in turmoil, Ye Chen raced deep into the woods like a cheetah. Just as he emerged from the forest and was about to leave, someone suddenly caught up from behind. Ye Chen turned and looked, then relaxed slightly. It was a blue-haired girl. Strangely enough, she was not very old either, yet she wore a white Marine cape.

"Who are you? Why are you running? Stop right there!" Ain was meticulous by nature. Seeing Shakky constantly blocking the door, she had suspected something was odd about the bar. Ain secretly circled around to the back and happened to spot several faint footprints on the ground. Wanting to perform well before her teacher, Ain had not reported it and had pursued alone.

"Who are you?"

They were already far from the bar, and the other party was not very old. Ye Chen was not overly concerned. If Zephyr had been the one chasing him, Ye Chen definitely would not have stopped; he would have fled for his life with every ounce of strength he had. But a girl about his own age dared to order him around so arrogantly. That made Ye Chen very unhappy.

"I am Admiral Zephyr's student. My name is Ain, and I am currently a Marine Lieutenant Commander!"

Ain glanced at the epaulets on her shoulders and replied proudly. She examined Ye Chen closely. Aside from being handsome and sharp-looking, with bright, spirited black eyes and a strange braid on his head, he did not look like a bad person at all. Ain began to wonder. She simply could not believe that this was Ghost, the one who had dared to attack the Dragon People.

"My name is Ye Chen. You're a Marine, so does that mean you're here to arrest me?"

The moment Ye Chen spoke, Ain clenched her delicate fists. Her face darkened, and a flash of icy coldness suddenly flickered in her red-and-black eyes. "So you're the one who attacked the Dragon People!"

"That's right. Do you think I'm handsome and want to be friends with me? Hahaha... You're fairly pretty yourself. If you beg me, I might consider it."

It was not that Ye Chen was arrogant. Ain was simply too young. In Ye Chen's eyes, a little girl posed no threat at all. Besides, he had absolute confidence in his own abilities.

Why was Ye Chen not more composed? Why did he not know how to keep a low profile?

Because in his previous life, he had been the domineering third young master of the Ye Family. The word "low-key" simply did not exist in Ye Chen's bones.

Even after coming to this world, his temperament had only changed enough to make Ye Chen more cold-blooded and ruthless. The pride in his bones had not diminished in the slightest.

"Ptui... you bastard, how dare you take advantage of me! Soru!" Ain shouted coldly. Wind surged beneath her feet as she suddenly leaped up. Ye Chen was slightly startled, but he also sprang into the air. Both were extremely fast, two dark shadows colliding in midair. Ain kicked at Ye Chen, while Ye Chen clenched his right fist without fear. With a bang, Ye Chen's fist collided directly with Ain's right foot. The air churned violently in midair, and two fierce shockwaves burst from around them. Even the distant trees seemed to have been struck by blades, neat cracks appearing across their trunks.

Ain widened her eyes in surprise. Ye Chen grinned at her, then exerted force through his right arm again. A black gleam suddenly flashed over his still-youthful fist. With a bang, a tremendous force crashed toward Ain like a tidal wave. Her body flew backward beyond her control, but Ain reacted with remarkable agility. Before she hit the ground, she spread her hands, and her body drifted steadily down like a celestial maiden descending to earth. Her blue hair fluttered lightly, and a trace of otherworldly grace appeared in her gemlike eyes, leaving Ye Chen staring blankly for a moment.

"You actually know the Six Powers?"

Ain stared at Ye Chen in astonishment. Only officers of commander rank and above were permitted to train in the Six Powers. Of course, there were exceptions—young talents with exceptional aptitude could receive special permission to train in them. But such people were as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns, few enough to count on one's fingers. Even in CP9, only a handful qualified. Ain had barely earned that qualification because she was Zephyr's student. Yet Ye Chen, an outsider—and Ghost at that—not only knew the Six Powers, but seemed no less proficient than a Marine officer.

"I know a lot more than that..." Ye Chen said with a grin, deliberately letting his eyes drift toward Ain's still-undeveloped chest. He licked his lips. "Ain, if you don't mind, we can have a good spar on the grass. Hehe... After all, you're my woman. There are some things you'll have to learn sooner or later."

Having thoroughly taken advantage of her with his words, Ye Chen saw Ain about to explode again. This time, he suddenly accelerated and rushed past her like a gust of wind. When Ye Chen turned around again, Ain suddenly cried out. The button on her shorts had somehow been undone.

Then her shorts slipped down, completely exposing her fair, beautiful legs.
