Li Ziran looked up at the enormous Humpback Eagle as though gazing upon an overlord of the skies.

He had seen some Magic Beasts before, but this was the first time he had encountered one of such magnitude.

"Mr. Li Ziran, Lord Sandrew specifically sent me to invite you!" Rhine reminded him again. Though he was anxious, he still maintained sufficient respect.

That reminder drew Li Ziran's attention. He swept his gaze over Golden-Haired Rhine and found that, compared to several months ago, the other man had barely changed.

His gaze then fell upon the totem Minotaurs in the distance. Now he understood that when those Minotaurs had sent Butterfly Girl over, it had not been to threaten him; there had also been an intention to protect her.

What Sandrew had said back then about merely spreading her reputation across the Grasslands in a roundabout way had probably been a lie as well.

Still, it did not really matter. Demons were taboo, after all. It was unrealistic to think she truly had no backing at all.
