History

Dragon God Era and Lower-Plane Interference

Shura God was already an ancient God King during the Dragon God era. He personally used the Asura Demon Sword to divide the Dragon God into the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King; the former was sealed in the Divine Forbidden Land, while the latter escaped into spatial turbulence. 133

Over time, he became the God Realm’s highest enforcer, with authority to patrol lower planes. The River of Time later revealed that he repeatedly violated the laws he was meant to uphold, causing upheavals across lower planes and contributing to the deaths of divine officials sent to enforce those laws. 143 152 153

Descent to the Douluo Plane

Shura God descended to the Douluo Plane when Tang San, Tang Hao, and Bibi Dong were cornered by Ye Qingtian. He acknowledged that he may have crossed the line, but defended his actions by claiming jurisdiction over the plane and responsibility as the God Realm’s enforcer. 95 96

Ye Qingtian openly challenged him, referencing their prior battle and the injuries Shura had suffered from the Sunset Bow. Rather than fight Ye again, Shura God attempted to withdraw Tang San’s group and eventually returned them to Shrek Academy. 96 99

He then refused Tang San’s requests to eliminate Ye Qingtian, stating that mortal affairs had their own laws and that his intervention had already exceeded the permitted limits. 100

Tang San’s Succession

Shura God returned to the mortal world after learning of Tang San’s willingness to risk the path of Offering One’s Body to the God. He selected Tang San as his successor, promising to grant him Shura Godhood and arrange a second God King inheritance because of Tang San’s Twin Martial Souls. 128 129

The arrangement was an exceptional measure driven by fear that Ye Qingtian and Gu Yuena could overturn the God Realm. Shura God also reassigned Tang Chen—his disqualified former inheritor—to support Tang San through the Shura trials. 129

Crisis in the God Realm

When Ye Qingtian demanded entry into the God Realm, Shura God initially refused. He eventually admitted that he could not stop Ye and opened the passage rather than suffer a one-sided defeat in the mortal world. 130 132

His decision immediately backfired when Ye Qingtian and Gu Yuena entered the Divine Forbidden Land. The God of Destruction held Shura responsible for the resulting crisis, particularly because the Golden Dragon King was sealed there. 132 133

Exposure, Rebellion, and Death

Ye Qingtian forced the God Realm to investigate Shura God’s actions by mirroring the River of Time. The evidence exposed Shura’s repeated unlawful interference in lower planes, isolating him from the other God Kings. 150 152 153

The God Kings proposed stripping him of his position, taking the Asura Seed, and sending him through ten thousand reincarnations. Shura God rejected the verdict, declared that nobody could judge him, and fought the other four God Kings instead. 154 155

His attempt to seize the other God Kings’ powers led the God of Kindness to request Ye Qingtian’s intervention. Ye blocked the Asura Demon Sword with one finger, then fired nine arrows from the Sunset Bow. 157 158
