Ryan spread his hands, looking completely innocent; he hadn't expected Vegeta to react so strongly.

Rose assumed a fighting stance, wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, activated her Soul Eye, and stared defiantly at Lucifer without the slightest fear.

Rose unleashed a ki blast imbued with the power of Ultra Instinct towards Lucifer, but just like before, the space within her Soul Eye solidified, automatically forming a defense that blocked her ki blast, rendering it completely ineffective.
