Buzz!

About a minute later, the Grand Minister broke the formation, and the bound energy clones dissipated, freeing Son Gohan Seraph Gabriel from their predicament.

"Uncle Wuling, Dad, Uncle Vegeta!"

When Son Gohan reappeared, he looked at Son Wuling and the others in surprise. His consciousness was blurred. Unlike the others, he and Seraph Gabriel had been directly sealed away. It was as if he had taken a nap and then woke up.

"Gohan, that's great!"

Son Wuling, Son Goku, Vegeta all breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, Vegeta being the same.

Seraph Gabriel slowly opened her eyes. In her line of sight, the Grand Minister stood before her, wearing a refined and familiar smile.

"Michael, it's you! I can't believe I can see you again! How is everyone? And Kusu, Kusu grown up? Is she like me now?"

Seraph Gabriel's voice sounded clear and somewhat childish, just like Kusu's. Who could imagine that this was an Angel who had lived for billions of years? It was simply too beastly. Especially when he mentioned the part about being like her, his tone became anxious, clearly showing great unease and tension, with tears welling up in his eyes.

"It's alright, it'll be alright soon. Kusu does resemble you, but she's taller than you, Gabriel. A lot has happened here too..."

The Grand Minister gently comforted Gabriel, as if soothing a child, and began to recount what had happened next.

When Gabriel heard that Kusu was taller than her, her face lit up with a smug smile, as if she had just received her favorite lollipop. She gently shook her head, her eyes shining.

"Oh my god! My heart hurts so much."

After explaining the situation to Sun Son Goku and the others, Son Wuling saw Gabriel's appearance. His personality seemed that of a ten-year-old girl. Had he really lived for billions of years?

"What? She's the High Grand Minister's wife, and the mother of Kusu, Vados, and Whis?"

Son Goku's eyes widened in disbelief, as did Son Gohan and Vegeta, who were hearing this for the first time.

The explanation was brief, lasting only about a minute, yet it clearly explained everything and outlined the next steps.

The Grand Minister spoke, "Next, Mr. Wuling and I will work together to sever Kronos's connection with the inner space, and then completely destroy Kronos!"

"Hooray! This is a huge victory for us! Let's charge forward with renewed vigor and crush Kronos so he can never get up again! Yeah!"

Gabriel then made a scissor gesture, his excited and triumphant expression light and melodious. His optimistic and cheerful demeanor brought smiles to Son Wuling and the others, lessening their gloomy mood.

Outside, on an unknown planet, Kronos lay in a deep pit, panting heavily, the effects of his recovery waning.

Rose Kusu stomped heavily on Kronos's head. Similarly, she didn't know the specifics of the inner space, but she trusted Zamasu, who had reformed and turned back.

Her white braids swung gently behind her head. Unlike the disheveled Kronos, Rose Kusu was clean and tidy, her spotless appearance almost dreamlike, a stark contrast to Kronos.

"You're really patient, Kronos. You've probably never been treated like this before!"

Rose Kusu raised her long legs, clad in flat-soled boots, high and then slammed them down, crushing Kronos's head.

Rose Kusu leaped backward, landing on a spatial plane. Watching Kronos's head slowly recover, she condensed a blade of energy in her hand and stabbed it into Kronos's body, lifting him up.

Kronos appeared to be on the verge of death, his aura even weaker than before, but his determined eyes still shone brightly, showing no sign of giving up.

"How ugly, how truly ugly! Kronos, how can you still be called the Angel of Time after being beaten to this state? We sought help from the Time Supreme Kai to deal with you, but upon hearing your name, we were terrified and ran away. We don't even know where she is now. I wonder if she will still be scared away after seeing you like this."

Kronos seemed remarkably calm. Their plan had gone smoothly, yet it still failed. Plans can never keep up with changes. Even so, Kronos showed no sign of begging for mercy. An ordinary warrior would likely have collapsed and gone mad long ago after being tortured like this by Rose Kusu.

"Perhaps this is my destiny, or perhaps, Zeno already knew everything all along!"

Kronos dragged his weak body to his feet. He felt a peace he had never known before. Even though the Zeno had not interfered with them, it was as if everything was in his hands.

"But so what if we fail? Rose Kusu, the gods are the absolute rulers."

Kronos's unsteady gait, however, exuded an air of authority; he was absolutely determined to achieve his goals, even at the cost of his own life.

"Kronos's rise to the Angel of Time was definitely not due to sheer power!"

Rose Kusu frowned as well. This time, she didn't try to provoke Kronos with words as she usually did. She felt so tired of dealing with Kronos now.

That's right, she's just emotionally exhausted. All sorts of witty remarks and torturous methods have been used, but nothing has worked. For her to feel emotionally exhausted, Kronos's strength goes beyond just physical power.

"Is it not ready yet, Zamasu?"

Rose Kusu felt a sense of anxiety at this moment. Several times she had thought about getting rid of Kronos once and for all, and her mentality was starting to break down.

Glug!

Suddenly, a violent throbbing sound came, and Kronos clutched his chest in pain, letting out a wail. He felt as if he was about to die, and was in great discomfort. His life force weakened considerably in an instant.

"The internal space... wait, impossible! How did Son Wuling and Michael escape? Impossible! Those humans released by Rose Kusu should have fallen into Tartarus Hell and died! What on earth is going on?"

Kronos's eyes seemed to bulge out; his attention was entirely focused on Rose Kusu, ignoring the situation inside the space. In the final moment when the inner space left him, he saw the truth.

puff...

Kronos coughed up a mouthful of blood, while Rose Kusu opposite him showed a look of joy, sensing Kronos's condition.

"Great! It worked! Zamasu, that's awesome!"

"Ahhh..."

Kronos roared in despair, purple blood spilling from the corner of his mouth, filled with anguish and sorrow. He cried out, "Zamasu, it was you! You betrayed us! You traitor!"
