Arc 13The Empire Confronts the Old World

The Empire absorbed new allies and brought East Blue under its rule, crushing Arlong and intervening in Goa Kingdom with devastating consequences. After destroying Uranus and the Five Elders, Hane expanded the Empire’s reach into the New World, where the Navy defeated Kaido and Big Mom before Shanks surrendered his pirate identity.

  • Nami escaped the pirates with her savings, and Rear Admiral Tsuru’s fleet destroyed Arlong’s crew, rescued Cocoyasi Village, and arrested corrupt Colonel Nezumi and his men.

Arc 14The Underworld’s Advance

Hane merged the Ninja World with the Pirate World, then the Underworld Bureaucracy expanded into Hueco Mundo and began absorbing its souls. After gaining new power, the Bureaucracy entered Soul Society and defeated its captains, leaving Yamamoto and the other Death Gods kneeling before Madara.

  • Shanks signed the Adventurer’s Oath at the Adventurers’ Guild, renouncing piracy as the gathered reporters and officials celebrated.

An unknown force severed the World of the Living from the Underworld, but Hane found Ichigo and helped him rescue the Cursed Children and establish the Empire in Black Bullet.

  • Madara forced Yamamoto Genryūsai and the twelve captains to submit to the Underworld Bureaucracy, then assigned the captains to its offices as Squad Zero arrived to investigate Soul Society’s disappearance.

Sosuke’s Empire intervened in Tokyo to shelter the Cursed Children, while Rentaro’s hesitation drove Enju away and Tokyo’s hostility escalated into massacre. After Rentaro was left for dead and Hane returned the Seven Stars Legacy to Scorpio, Scorpio unleashed a global Gastrea uprising as the Empire vanished into the sky.
