Electivire's Pre-Battle Preparations

To trainers outside, Dratini were an extremely rare kind of Pokémon, prohibited from being sold on the market.

But to some of Blackthorn City's Dragon People, Dratini were like the Starter Trio every player was guaranteed to receive in a game—basic equipment once they became trainers.

Maybe that was what it meant to be born with different starting points.

The Dragon People controlled the Dragon's Den, where dragons dwelled in groups. To them, Dratini might truly have held little appeal.

Soma stared at Heiduo in shock. "Weren't you using Garchomp?"

"I don't recall you saying I had to use Garchomp?" Heiduo replied sarcastically. When it came to disgusting people, having been influenced by the bros of the twenty-first century, Heiduo was an absolute expert.

He chuckled. "Heh! Never seen one before, have you? Don't recognize it, do you?"

Before Link Trade became available, Electivire were no more numerous than Pokémon like Steelix and Scizor. If one wanted to evolve an Electabuzz without using Link Trade, they had to do what Heiduo did—find a power plant and feed it vast amounts of electricity.

The amount of electricity this Pokémon could store was beyond ordinary imagination. Mars of Team Galactic had used an Electivire to steal power from a valley power plant and create a Galactic Bomb.

Soma's eyes widened, and he gritted his teeth. "Enough talk! Go! Noivern, show it what you've got! Boomburst!"

He truly did not recognize this Pokémon, but that did not stop him from defeating Heiduo!

Its primary color was bright yellow. It had to be an Electric type!

Sometimes, determining a Pokémon's type was simple—just observe the main color of its
