"Thanks..." Silver was not good with words and was thin-skinned, so for a moment, he did not know how to thank Heiduo.

Heiduo glanced at him, his face expressionless.

With this experience setting up a Secret Base, he would know what to do next time he went to another region. Besides, the more Secret Bases he had, the more ways out he had.

Heiduo lowered his head and checked the time. The Secret Base had an excellent view, overlooking all of Mahogany Town and even offering a glimpse of the edge of Lake of Rage. Overall, the terrain was pretty good.

He just did not know how waterproof it was.

Heiduo warned him, "If heavy rain floods this place, don't stubbornly stay behind. The same goes for heavy snow. The tarp can only do so much. We can always build another Secret Base."

After all, he was not a Secret Base Master like Kiley. He knew nothing about terrain and was worried that he had picked the wrong spot—that it might flood or leak during heavy rain.

"Yeah." Silver nodded hard, then hesitated for two seconds. "Um... can I still come to you?"

It made sense. To Silver, the kindness Heiduo showed him might have seemed like something that did not require him to pay a price, unlike the unnecessary good deeds others might perform.
